Just tried it out. its Easier than the mec heli one!

I can now take out both mec and cobra in two quick tow shots! Not very useful but it does mean that I am aiming in the right place

I'll see if I can put up the video of it.

Correct the trial one is only 30 seconds video recording. I'd had a purchased version of fraps back when bf42 was around. Its more expensive now but works ALOT better. It's well worth it.

The cobra one works REALLY well. In my first ranked server round doing this I got the same 2 guys twice in a row. First time the kills were credited to the heli so I bet they didnt have a clue as to where the shot came from lol. The second time gave it way thought.

Its the best when you land one of these and get the "wtf? u wallhacker ban him!" comments

What does make it hard is to get the timing of when the heli has respawned. If there are people on the pad that want the cobra they're usually pressing "e" so they get in as soon as it spawns. As such you only get to see it on the minimap for a split second.

PS: there is a limit on the distance that the TOW's travel. I had previously believed that it would to till it hit something. I was wrong. On karkand the suburb tow will make it just past the US bases first artillery (just near the other tow). It falls shot of the US UAV trailer ... damn

btw I did some timings:

player resp. T: 15s
heli rep. T: 40s
time to get into the heli: 7s
time to take off: 7s
rocket travel T: 7s
fully repair heli: 12s
time to get elected a commander: 15s
TOW reload time: 6s

I can insta-destroy the cobra, but the other chopper just gets on flames and dont blow up and the enemy gets away 90% of my attempts. How is it possible to insta destroy it like in the video?

ok, I practise more than... you hit the blades right? or whats a perfect hit like?
