It is EXACTLY the same as the old C4 tossing. You guys aren't doing it right if you think that it isn't as effective.

No it isn't. I have only seen 2 players do it. Because you can't just jump and press the mouse button any time in the air, and you have to time it just right (which can take a while or a few tries), it is not common. Most of the time, you can do it if you are on the other side of a fence with a tank. But if you do it to infantry, it will leave you dead shortly.

I have been doing it since the 2nd day of release of 1.3... I can do it without thinking.

I am not saying "effective" as in easy. I am saying "effective" as in, it goes the same height/distance.

No it isn't lol. You have to press both jump and shoot at the same time for it to work. If you're just a little bit off your screwd because you'll probably get killed : )

The forums are filling up with everything from.....sucky stuff, to glitching, to cheating, to hacking, to ban this and ban that.

Most games, signature start to the end, starts off this way.

Most people here arnt intrested in teamwork. They arnt even intrested in winning anymore. The intrest is, who can bend the games code better then anyone else, so they can proclaim how great they are....................at........

I'm saying that the physical C4 goes the same distance... etc.

I know it is tight timing, but once you get it down.... you get it down.

The only downside is that you have to wait until you land to detonate... which is pretty much the only difference.

Well yes. You can throw it just as far and the explosion is just as destructive. but this time it has negative points when attempting to do it. it's much easier to get the timing wrong and end up dead.

It's as effective damage wise, but you are hardly going to see it get as bad as C4 throwing was pre 1.2.

I've played against the best in the world. C4 chucking is NO WHERE near as good as it once was. You have 0% chance to kill me in the open with C4 if I see you. It's not even close to as good as it once was.

I feel like I can do a pretty good throw. I feel like it will go real high (it's gone out of my sight) and then come back down real far away. It doesn't. I try throwing it over a fence 10ft away and it lands on the side of the fence. Also I'd like to say again that I hate the way you cannot jump and shoot at the same time. I can understand for a PKM. But for grenades? For C4? Normally using C4 throws it like 2 ft away. Now can't you throw it like a grenade? Yes you can, the only way to simulate this is to have you jump. And now it's impossibly hard to throw it like you could do easily IRL.
