Yeah, it is a good map, one of my fav's - there's only one downside. Teh turnout of points that is the norm (40ish)

Karkand is a decent map but the balance seems off. It seems to me that if you have two equally balanced teams then the US will never get any other points.
Defending that area is just to easy because it is bottlenecked. Two antitank on each side and no vehicle is getting past and as long as the team stays spread out neither will any infantry.

Mashturr city on the other hand starts both teams off equally so they should be able to grab some points. And also you have many more ways of getting to other bases.

Im not saying nobody likes Mashtuur but I get so annoyed by finding a million 24/7 Karkand servers and ones that say Karkand every other map.
