The childish nature in all of us.

So I was lookin' for the bf2 intro movie on google for another thread when i ran across this:

the kid wanted to see cars exploding, so dad let him watch the intro to bf2 and filmed his reaction.

He sounds just like me. When the car is c4'd the kid gets all wide-eyed and yells "boom!".

    He looks around 2ish.

    Enjoy.

is it really good for your kid to expose him to that when he is 2?

No - he'll grow up to be a terrorrist, I bet!

Seriously though, that is so cute.

Especially when he goes 'BOOM!' after the car blows up.

          I LOL'd.

And he'll be killing people virtually at 3! I don't know if i should comment, but if i had a kid i wouldn't expose him/her to any of my games till a more appropriate age. When he/she understood that killing is bad.

At that age, the kid has no understanding of what's going on.

He doesn't know that people are getting killed - he knows that things are going BOOM, which he enjoys.

But let us not turn this topic in to a debate over which age somebody should be able to see some pixel on pixel violence.

See I was that age before this politically correct parenting existed. I watched things blow up/violence all the time. I'm a perfectly adjusted member of society, married, and a manager in a national company.

Get this "He'll grow up to be violent because he looked at a game" nonsense out of your head. I can assure you that all of the atrocities and crimes commited in the history of mankind have zero connection to games/tv/sexual images.

After all, Jack the Ripper was not raised watching violent TV was he? Nor was Hitler. Nor Stalin. And neither were the crusaders....etc., etc., etc.

No one dies, even in point blank explosions the body is intact and he has a headache and lies down for 15 seconds. Then someone Zaps him and he gets ****ed off and grabs his gun out.. or magically transports away from further headaches back at a friendly base.
I think that's why my kill / death ratio could look better. It doesn't hurt and it's not all that gruesome, so I have run out into danger a lil too often..
