BF2 mods are gonna be sweet, if people leave vanilla too soon they will miss the best part of a games life, tha mods. They will breathe new life into BF2.
I dont think it will be any time soon but i would have to say i will be playing it less when 2142 comes out after that i dont know i still play bf 1942 so who knows
I've been at it 7 months now and slowing down, so I said 1 year. By the time 2142 comes out BF2 will be pretty old for me. But I've never gotten so much out of one game before!
But then saying that I did play Bf1942 and Vietnam equally up until 3 months ago when I could finally afford a PC that could handle Bf2 (I know its been out for longer but we can't all afford a new PC every year).
Some say that Bf2 servers are dissapearing, but even if that is right, how many servers are there that aren't being used while you play on your favorite ones, I reckon over half of the 4000 that come up on my server search aren't used. So I reckon it will be ages before Bf2 dissapears, even when 2142 comes out.
And then I'm not really into my futuristic stuff so I'll probably just play Bf2 on standalone like a loner.
when ET : QW comes out, if beforehand Supreme Commander comes out then yeh but atm i dont really play bf2 that much at all cos im enjoying css too much as always.. wont be buying 2142...
Hi Chris,
Yes I do actually. But I am playing it with a quite "legacy" PC which is to be upgraded soon if things go well with me. With the new system I have in mind, everything will be smooth as silk. See you some time in SWAT4 then
Allright, Im in NN clan, playing under the nick of NN(Foxhound)RED. So in case you someday recognize me, give me a shoutout.
About 20 nanoseconds after I install Armed Assault on my hard drive.
Yes, AA looks good, at least from the screenshots as shown. I think we should all upgrade our hardware accordingly first. Look at Ghost Recon 3, I can't even play it with my 5900GT!

Probably won't be playing at all in six months time. Haven't played for a month. Downloaded 1.3, logged in for a minute, got a shiney gold knife badge, (lol) and logged out. Too busy enjoying other games, and the decent weather. :)
i dont know when i will stop playing, maybe when BF3 will comes out
i play it for fun, i like normal war, like BF2, FH2, DC, OPK, not future like bf2142 or ET:QW, but maybe it will bo nice, i will see when it will be able
Well, it's former RTCW Enemy Territory was a game that rocked my world. Objective based FPS with nice graphics still running perfectly fine in medium or lower medium class PC setups. I don't remember a single case of game crashing without external reason. Few patches come along and those actually worked and fixed the thing that was promised. No stupid gameplay changes during it's lifetime. all in all it was perfect game for my taste.
I loved that game, still do but 2,5 years was enough, something new was requred.
I also like BF2 really much, but it QW is even near the experiment that was going on with good old ET, I'll propably leave u fellows straight away.
Then there is a game called Crysis, have u seen its trailers. That will be something totally different but I bet I need a new PC for that
