When will you give up BF2 COMPLETELY

I have found lately, that BF2 servers are reducing in number. The number of SF servers is reducing also at an even faster rate. Incidentally, another FPS game SWAT4 is also gone with most of the active servers.

I wonder, if you will still play the game say 12 months later. It seems that people are moving on to Ghost Recon III.

oh and, GR3 is a newer game, what will happen when bf2143 and ET:QW comes out?
most people will leave GR3 and move on to them of course. its a never ending cycle

within 2-3 years probably. FH2 and POE will make this game fun for a few years to come.

I am still really enjoying BF2. It runs perfectly for me. I was playing DC till the day BF2 came out so I think I will be playing this for a while to come.

All that is going on now is all that the noobs are going on the other games leaving just the hard core BF2 lovers that know how to play as a team and work together.

PS. Don’t flame me because I said the noobs are leaving, it’s a fact of life that happens with every game. I also know ppl are having problems with 1.3 but I was not talking about them, so lighten up :)

BF2 still has a LOT of servers. And the communities will be there. BF2 aint going nowhere. I can say the same about SWAT4. Most of its servers are empty, indeed, however, the players who played it a year ago, are still playing it strong and clan games are still as sweet as they were.

I dont think I will get bored of BF2 completely, but the game is pretty much exhausted for me. However, I will still be playing it every once in a while.

I really like BF2, the gameplay is 10/10 but then again the new patch fcuked it up and its nearly impossible for me to play now, constantly getting connection errors, BSOD's and CTD's, its messing up my computer and my network.

So really if they don't sort the patch I may have no choice, since I can't really play it and im not going to play it really until the next patch is released because last time I got BSOD's it caused alot of damage on my old comp.

indeed ive heard of this new game as well any one care to take a guess, seriously, im gonna quit when bf2 is no longer was fun as it used to be. but i will still play on and off as long as this game is on my pc

Yes I do actually. But I am playing it with a quite "legacy" PC which is to be upgraded soon if things go well with me. With the new system I have in mind, everything will be smooth as silk. See you some time in SWAT4 then.
