I don't know about best, but the most popular seem to be opk, usi, and prmm.

It really depends on what you like. BTW dont listen to any of the POE, FH2 are the best crap because they havent released anything yet.

I would agree with MatDef OPK, USI or PRMM chances are you will like at lest one of them.

Well I came from css and am a firm believer if you want infantry fighting, that cant be beaten, I am more a vehicle whore, I tried the reality one coz I like the idea of big battles, but found it a bit slow.

Downloading USI now

Ideally something with boat loads of planes would really float my boat, big mad 10 plane dog fights and stuff

USI is pretty sexy. I hate that mod with little bird, which only allows you to have recticle while zoomed... forget what it's called.

The USI mod has the A-10 attack plane. The 30mm gun in that thing is unreal. It's worth the 900mb download just for that.

In the multiplayer section, uncheck all the filter boxes and check same mod then update server list.

I've tried USI/PRMM/OPK and I didn't really like any of them. No offence, because they are all good Mods in there own right, just they didn't do it for me. I would tell you what I didn't like about them, but that might discourage someone else from checking it out, and considering the Hard work that has gone into these Mods, I don't want to do that.

briefly:

USI - Great Mod(Love the Humvess with the AA), tones of new vehicles.
PRMM - Great Mod, I quess I just like the arcade style/sound of regular BF2
OPK - Good Mod, loads of new vehicles/weapons, couldn't find a server(other than UK/EU) to play on soo..........

All worth the DL/install IMO.

Project Reality is the best after trying all of these 3 mods. Definitly! It reminds me of games like Vietcong and Hidden & Dangerous 2.

Haven't tried that one yet, I was gonna get it but i thought i read they were having issues Post 1.3, and a fix is in the works......True/Untrue?

Im not going to bother downloading any mods until we get some mod servers in australia, its not worth my while d/ling a 900 mb patch to play on a server based in the states with a ping of 400...

USI is the best mod out at the time being in my opinion.

I'm hoping that DCON will be great too...if it ever comes out.
