I totaly agree! If you dont like the vehicle aspect of BF2(because obviously you have never used a tank, heli or a plane)go play AA! And stop posting these stupid posts! if you dont like the game the way it is, deal with it or go play something else. The point system is fine the way it is.

Driving and firing a tank on , say, 6 open infantry is goodluck on your part, but I think the level of difficulty to plow through all 6 of them should be 6 points. And still kept at 2 points if you fight tank vx another tank.. Helis are different vechicles than tanks and are harder to fly. Still cause the same result on a score board...... but that's probably why any army made them......

Why dont you learn how to fly?

I think we've got enough people hanging out at our airfields not helping as it is...

Coming from a guy whos 80% of his time is spent in a heli. Learn something new like ground pounding.

I can groundpound as well, if not better than you and I don't need to spend any time on the ground to practice it: I'd much rather play something that requires real skill. If I wanted to run and gun, I'd go play CS Source. :)

I get high points on PTG server aswel that has the world server rank on 4
and much of those guys and girls who come by are skilled and don't complain about tanks because they just pick up a At kit and shoot it down and pick up a kit from the ground.

also I think you kdr is a avarge of 1 or lower then that ^^
most people who complain has those ratio's if they want to nerf something

If you enjoy the game, play it as a sniper or a SL or whatever. If tanking is your thing. Do it. Why should points matter? I think running people over with a vodnick is harder than killing people with a helo sometimes, but I'm not going to say that "road kills should be 3 points".

This is coming from a guy who spends most of his time as a sniper and only picks up 30 points a round.

A kill is a kill, get used to it.

Fair enough. Gunnery Sergeant? Are you aiming for first sergeant? I am, but need a knife badge. I have little skill with a knife and only ever use it on oblivious snipers. Using it on gunners is far to hard because even getting shot in the foot can critically wound you lol (Admittedly it would hurt though)..

At this point I miss Delta Force so badly, it was like scoring a 3 pointer getting a knifing kill, as the difficulty / stealthiness of this kill was alot more difficult. And the same in BF2, more difficult than firing a tank shell.

How about headshots with snipers, 3 points?!

Again, but I like having a decent rank to be commander or squadleader rotate. Ranks don't matter too much... but I still smile everytime I hear the snare drum for an award.

But now it's changed to "WTF how did earn that!?" lol
No clue eh, my stats aren't all that hot because I started 2 months ago and I sucked at first

or get that last some meters by holding shift and jump at the last second

Thank whoring is quit easy if you work together or just hold back and take some cover where you not can get hit by AT shells

I think canne practice whoring with armor then (will be hard I think)
