I always find it amusing how somebody can be labelled as a fan boy for enjoying a game, but the people who **** and moan are simply 'normal'.

And seriously - how long do other games last? 10-20 hours? What have you gotten out of BF2? 10 months?

So I'm supposed to sign off on the fact that 10 months is how long my money is worth on this game?? So that I should just be "Happy" that I got my "Money's Worth" in your opinion??

I'm not labeling people as fan boi's for enjoying the game, cuz hell, I love this f'ing game. I'm labelign the fan boi's as those STILL defending the 1.3 patch as a good one.

When you are in game, can you see the server IP?? If so, how?? Show me, cuz this SERIOUSLY makes me angry when I play.

I pay $5/hour for pool at the bar. Therefore, if it were on the same scale, Battlefield 2 should be worth 12 hours of play. Be glad you've played Battlefield 2 for so long.

I haven't checked, but should you not be able to click 'TAB', then right-click to being up the mouse, and click on the server info button at the top?

Although, that may have been broken by the patch as you say, , since I haven't really tried it.

I completely disagree with you. You only say this because you are not a server owner plagued with crashing servers and $100+ US a month going out the window on a broken game. Have you seen server stability graphs lately?? Hell I've been playing Tribes 1 for 7 years, I actually feel like I got my money out of that one.

I pay $0 hr for pool I have a table at my home.

I dislike EA's business practices as much as the next guy but you've got to look at one important fact: They've made a game that is enjoyable to play with alot of replay value. If you hate Battlefield 2 so much, why are you still playing it? Because they've made a game that is enjoyable to play with alot of replay value.

Sure **** happens when they patch the game but in the end you're still playing the same Battlefield 2 for the same reason: They've made a game that is enjoyable to play with alot of replay value.

If you don't find Battlefield 2 to be enjoyable to play then you shouldn't be playing it. Unless you yourself are one of the devoted EA fanboys that you so dearly despise.

It's totally ****ed up...

1. Often crashes to desktop when I go to a server
2. Singleplayer doesn't work anymore
3. Vehicle drops destroys everything
4. Karkand Hotel Glitch(Started before 1.2 then 1.3)
5. No visible IP when the server's loading
6. Every info of the server is set to 0 when loading server(Rounds Per map, Friendly Fire etc.)
7. Refresh button if gone like 75% because of EA and not the stuff they modified
8. Can't change squads often(once or twice during the game)

etc.

I can't really quit BF2 because when internet's lagging, nothing to do on my computer

Runs fine for me. The so called 'fan bois' whose games are running normally may be more numerous than you think. There's no reason to whine on the board if your game's going smoothly.

I feel for you if you crash frequently after 1.3. That's an issue that need to be fixed. However other small bugs/gameplay changes are things you can adapt to and doesn't ruin the game experience for us at all.

Yeah, as an advocate of hating this patch, even I'm getting sick of seeing thread after thread of it. Sure, you maybe can sneak a little hate into a post every now and then, but there are just WAY too many threads on this as it is.
