I don't mind jets and choppers much as I tend to move away from bases to avoid them. However, APCs are so abundant that it's hard to get anywhere on the map without atleast one big fat bastard blowing you up. APCs can hit you from a mile away, travel almost any terrain, have plenty of armor, never run out of ammo, and can obliterate infantry in a couple hits; basically they're armored BFG9000's with infinite ammo. Did I forget to mention that sitting in an APC makes you look like a big dumbass? Alot of my deaths come from APC whores as anyone reading this can figure out, but that doesn't mean I want them nerfed.

I've discovered that the best way to deal with APCs is to simply switch to anti-tank (hint hint!). Nothing is more satisfying than seeing APC whores crap their panties after taking a rocket up the ass and then trying to search for you. Then to see the pathetic and defenseless snipers that usually occupy APCs hop out of their smoking wrecks only to get a full clip of the DAO-12 shat down their necks is priceless. Poetic justice at its finest hour.

They are used as transports now that the blackhawks get nerfted.

I think it takes 4 medics in the LAV to keep one engineer alive and repairing regardless of the fire directed at the engie; or 6 medics to keep two engies alive. But once they get to the target, when all the folks jump out, that flag is captured like, instantly. It's so sick to see base after base fall.

The worst fears I have is realized when I see TWO fully loaded USMC LAV's swim the river into my MEC rear bases and unload hordes of squad leaders who then spawn lots of friends to keep them alive.

Dont worry, they are very useful in the game and fits my gameplay style.

Well it doesn't bother me I just change my gameplay, I used to play Karkand all of the time, but then it hit me everytime I went into a Karkand server its the same thing, 95% of my deaths in Karkand were from Tanks and APC's even with AT's they just drop supplies and sit beside each other, 4% of my deaths were from the grenade spamage at the beggining of the round and the other 1% was the bullet deaths which was a rare occurance as the Tank usually got me before I could get to a player lol.

hm, what did the tank do the usual $hit roll up and down the side of the alleyway. So now because I see no point in playing Karkand, reason I played in in the beggining was to use WEAPONS against other people using WEAPONS. Im not saying I would want only infantry, but the Tank whorage, just no need for it. Tanks and APC in Sharqi are good since its a big enough map and enough buildings to go in. So I changed my gameplay to playing in Sharqi and Wake and its working pretty well. So instead of people whining to EA about it and getting things more messed up, change your gameplay.

I went from Karkand and Sharqi too.. Wake>Sharqi>Mashtuur and occasionally others but I rarely play Karkand.
