I'm a proud owner of all PC BF games. I picked up bf42 around the 1.2 patch and haven't stopped buying BF products since :)

42 and nam were great in their times, but they are currently sitting on the shelf all played out.

Man i used to be soo good in flying planes/choppers in DC, and when bf2 came out i just raped everybody for a while untill people started getting good.

Oh yeah, BF42 is the daddy ! The MP demo (Wake Island) was released before BF42 came out, I d/led it & was hooked from that point on.

yep, me too, i remember that fateful day in june 2000 (i believe it was or was it 2001) and seeing it going - oh whats this? a DOD clone or something... BOY was i wrong!.. all i remember was people running around the server going OMG WTF is this!!! and from that day forth i became a computer "geek".

i still play bf1942 and vietnam. now that its the summer and theres no more school, i will no doubt play alot more especially in the night.

i play BF1942 and Desert Combat now an than , but i got it after i got BF2 , actually BF2 is the first shooter i ever played :P but thats not relevant now . BF1942 has a way more fun kind of gameplay ....much faster and more moving while shooting , i usually play the berlin or stalingrad? map .

I couldn't play BF1942 when it came out because my computer at the time was a 333mhz 64mb RAM 4gig no graphics card noob raping powerhouse. I could barely get solitaire running without lag, not to mention feeding the hamster in it's wheel so it could keep the fan going.

Tried BF1942 (DC also) and didn't like it. BF:V appealed a little more and I got about three months play out of it, then BF2 came along... Played it to death from day one, but now totally bored with it and not bothered for several weeks.

Played BFV first, then BF1942, then DC, then went back to BFV, then POE, then the rest was history. lol

Thats how i was introduced to Battlefield. Before that, it was Quake3,2,1..
