Is it considered bad form to use cartillery on snipers and UAV trailers? I use cartillery all the time now and have killed many many snipers, heli campers, and blown up many UAV trailers.

Re: Cartillery
It's not counted as a kill. "Bla bla is no more". And yeah, you really haven't put any effort into killing them.. At least with artillery you have to aim it right, so far ahead it will connect with your target. Plus, it's original intention was to assist your lazy ass troops in getting to a location :) i hate walking, so stop wasting the ****en carsComment

Re: Cartillery
"i hate walking, so stop wasting the ****en cars" LOL! I usually drop the vehicles on whoever asks for them, or if I see a lone guy walking in the middle of nowhere, but if it not needed at the time, especially if a sniper is harassing my troops, I will drop it and I dont care if I don't get credit for a kill. The point is, the threat is now over.Comment

Car drops reload so fast, chances are you will get one soon enough if you need it.Comment

Re: Cartillery
I drop cars all over near the walking troops.
Sometimes I see enemy grab em too. The more I do this I think less of the game.
A true airlift will be a C-141 Globemaster landing and discharging cargo under fire. But hey this is a GAME.
I did one round with Cartillery against the USMC arty. It basically shut the enemy down the whole round and ran the tickets down the 0 in no time flat.
I dont do it anymore (Much) I like to save it for the troops that ask for them. This generates teamwork and some loyalty upwards.
It should either be severely limited or dropped from the game because this is a feature that I dont recall asking for at all.Comment

I consider it war by rather unconventional means, but still fair as you must make the effort for one person's death.Comment

Re: Cartillery
I consider cartillery a valid means of wageing war. If Im commander and 1
of my squads is pinned down by a tank, APC or a good sniper I will cartillery it.
The sooner most Bf2 players grow some f*cking balls and learn to adapt, improvise and overcome the better this game will be...Comment

Re: Cartillery
War by incredibly stupid means. Cartillery is an exploit. But I think the game deserves it. There are so many stupid things in the game already that one more incredibly stupid thing is just perfect. By all means use it. You don't need to garrison flags behind your lines any more, if somebody spends fifteen minutes sneaking through your lines and starts to cap a flag way away from your troops, just drop a car on him. You punched a button, so you deserve the kill Save the arty for the mass formations of enemy troops.Originally posted by TuscanSunI consider it war by rather unconventional means, but still fair as you must make the effort for one person's death.
Why don't we just put a laser in the sky and the commander can just zap any enemy he sees? I think you guys are on to something here.Comment

Re: Cartillery
I had an enemy commander try this to me about 5 times in one round. Each time it did not work, I thanked him for giving my team another vehilce, or just typed "HAHA NOOB Commander, you missed again".

Re: Cartillery
They should have just implemented normal parachute drift and this problem would never have surfaced.
Cartillery on UAV's .. hmm never knew that one! I'm never commander anyway but next time our uav's are destroyed i might not have to hunt around for spec ops!Comment
