I managed to bingo a blackhawk in-flight the other night. The result was... hillarious!

The car (with 'chute deployed) started doing loopies as the flaming wreck of the hawk hit the ground. The loopies didn't stop for a good 3 minutes! It just hung there going end over end in space!

Yeah, ok... it was cheesy, but it was funny as hell.

Here is a new twist to the cartillery.

Drop a vehicle into a firing artillery cannon and it will intercept several shells while exploding.

This really really really nueters (Or spays) the enemy's arty strike against his target and saves a few lives.

I have developed a theory that the right hand cannon firing the strike is the more dangerous as most commanders tend to target the bulls eye to the left of the group they want to kill. when a MEC and to the right when a USMC coommander to keep the arty out of thier friendly's hair as much as possible.

I was trying to get a sniper and an APC pulled up next to him, both died because of the APC explotion

It ranks up there with C4'd buggies as a tactic with me.. lame, but valid I guess.

                Re: Cartillery

the dropped car should just not be able to kill or destroy stuff.....then it's a usefull feature.....and dont come with that "learn to adept" crap.....it's an exploit and will be patched....i mean c'mon, dropping jeeps on ppl's heads is kinda retarded.....

I consider it great. I loved the "Wtf, a humvee just landed on me!" I got when I used cartillery earlier today XD

I got a hovering Attack heli tonight, hilarious...
plus I got about 10 heli/plane campers on the essex too, all i kept seeing is "***" is no more.

But what determines what kind of car drops???
I was dropping Vods on there arty one round as China, then next round..still china..I was dropping jeeps..what gives?

Oh and btw..or the love of god if a commander drops you a car that sets you up to hop to a hard to reach place liek a roof, use it, it rocks!

                      Re: Cartillery

I've not witnessed any of this yet. I am still yet to see a car dropping on snipers, Heli's, arty or myself.

I agree, it is cheesy. But then again I still think it's only a novelty thing that people will do from time to time for a laugh. Apart from dropping a car on a parked chopper before takeoff (which could then be shot) there isn't much of an advantage that can't be countered here. I don't know about you but If I was sat in a BH waiting to take off and I saw the armour being ground away I would get out, shoot the jeep if I could or just move on.

If It was such a massive exploit and a HUGE tactical advantage to do so I would have witnessed this at least once. Wouldn't I?

I have no doubt it will be patched but I haven't seen it effect the game at all yet. Not even an incy wincy ickle bit.

                      Grunt "Need supplies"
CMD "Hang on, I'm busy trying to cartilery the ass off this sniper"
                      Grunt "Request Vehicle over"
                      CMD "Damn, he moved"
                      Grunt "Requesting supplies, over"
CMD "FFS hang on will ya, I need to get this sniper......"

I know, I know, i've heard some people say it's possible to completely change the outcome of a battle no matter what, just by using cartillery alone

                      Novelty.
