Only time I have a problem with base raping is when about 6 people from the other team get in first and run to your base , tank rape it, bomb the **** out of it and arty it. (also they dont take the other bases, reason for this is would you rather have a ticket bleed on your enemy and your team get half of the 500 tickets or your team share 500 kills). It really sucks.

ive done that, especially to snipers who suck,by suck i mean doing nothing not helping anyone, **** i push those bastards off the crane. LOL

When I play BF2 which is very rarely now, Im usually a sniper on MEC. I just love sitting in tight places, having my eye on an important road or checkpoint with my SVD. And when i see my enemy i just wait till the f*cker stops to look around and BOOM, hes down. But thats only on urban maps
