man some of u guys need to go to anger managment or learn how to deal with people better i take it PR is not yalls strong suit. and some of yall are just plain a-holes

I love to snipe in this game, I get no better injoyment in-game than proned on a roof looking at some poor unsupecting ground pounder as I move my crosshair over his head, gently squeez my trigger and watch as he falls to the ground dead without knowing what hit him.
If I'm the squad Leader I will play as sniper, I will perch myself on a roof top or other strategical location so my squad memebers can attack a flag from the best possible route, what does **** me off though is to be in good location as SL an to have some f*cking stupid squad member spawn on me as support or assault and to start blazing away at any target that comes within sight weather it be a plane, tank, attack helio or a complete squad of ground pounders. By doing this you have attracted the attention of said enemy which willl now try to kill us.
You do this in my squad and you will recive a quick knife in the back, a kick from the squad and I will then lock the squad.
Find a better spot, and dont go back to the same on, most snipers who arnt good make that mistake, only really good snipers I have seen are [myis] spezna or whoever, a clan mate of mine, and me (dont mean to brag just the best I have seen. but with all these new snipers how just started after the l-96 came out, then to suck using the m24, svd and such, so I hate them, leave it to the guys who have been doing this the whole time the game has been out. Anyway, from what I have seen most gamers would rather see 1 or 2 really good snipers on their team than 12 bad snipers.

I hate to admit it here, on this forum, but I have been a d1ck plenty of times. When I am a sniper, I am often a SL and people can spawn on me when I am far behind the lines. But when I have some dumbass squadmate spawn and drop his ass right in my crosshairs, totally exposed, I will push his ass off the elevated point I might be at.
I don't mind people spawning on me, just don't get in my L.O.S. and don't open up with the damn PKM in my location.
I have killed plenty of teammates that screw with my concealed location.:evil:
A few times squad mates have spawned on me right in the middle of the crosshairs too, but this one time someone spawned on me just as i was taking a shot, hit my squad member in the head and got a team kill. LOL.:laugh2:
Sniping on a hill, what are you on? Thats like running into enemy grounds and waving a huge flag saying "I'm a sniper".
Snipe from ground level, its a lot easier and safer.

I partly agree. I'm a new sniper myself, so I am disagreeing about the bit that only old players should be snipers. However, I agree that you should know what you're doing if you're a sniper, my first few snipes consisted of the same persistant and dumb enemy sniper, all he kept doing was camping up on the hill facing my spawn point, where he was clearly visible and had no cover... Also, I've seen many snipers on me team, who stand up (No, they don't even crouch, never mind lay) in the middle of the Karkland bridge, and get shot before they even see anyone. Not only that, but a lot of other new snipers run up to me and try and camp in my position because they think I'll know where there are enemies, thats not *too* bad, but once they start throwing grenades etc and giving away my position, I really feel like TKing them just to get rid of them -_- - And that brings me to another sniper I didn't like... I was walking along, and he sniped me, yet, he was on my team, so I forgave him and said "Wtf... Learn to know team mates from enemies", and then went to occupy one of the ground anti-tank launchers, as a few tanks had passed through the area, and then what happened again? The allied sniper killed me and took over my post on the anti-tank launcher, this time I just got annoyed, so I punished him, and then sniped him back for the fun of it XD

depends on the hill & the map, Fusse Pass has nice spots to hide on hills with tree/rocks for cover you just have to know where to find them even the most obvious can be effective untill someone twigs on where you are, the only thing that bugs me about the sniper kit is that the camoflauge doesnt change to the specific map,
I only started sniping recently but I have ranked up a fair few hours already. i quickly learnt sniping at the top of a cliff is bad news, its just too easy to get killed....and once more, if you do get hit, the nearest medic is 34Km away. feck that, id sooner jump off the cliff.

Actually thats not true, i held off a load of guys when we got down to our last flag while some guys sped off in a hummer and started to get the other flags, we won. If i hadn't off picked them off they would have pwn3d the 3 guys defending.
a sniper placed in a good high position can aid in flag capping/defence as they can spot enemys better than people on the ground, just as long theirs another sniper around to cover your own ass
omg friggan i was watchen my friend snipe one time in Ghost Town in the oil fields and some retard sniper came up behind him shot a zip line went all the way down and didnt even pik it back up so it was just sitting there giving his position away *sigh* i hate dumb*sses and another thing is that u cant pick it up if it isnt urs . . . stupid people suck

I always form a squad when I start on a map. Normally, I just push, and push hard at the enemy and their flags. As a result, I get a lot of people joining my squad because I have either a).real high points b).prime locations to spawn from c). use my mic effectively when people do join. Thing is, I don't lock my squad. So, if I have just started a map and no one is in my squad, I will go sniper and push way deep in behind their lines and shoot the enemy from behind, where they least expect it. That is what directional fire means. People start spawning on me, and that is cool, I like to help. But when asses start spawning on me, and are not sneaky, the FFS, advance on a flag and stop giving away our nice spawn point! People critizing me for my actions, need to understand that I could lock my squad then screw the rest of the team out of an advanced spawn location.
I feel I am a good sniper, and understand all the logic/disopline involved. But telling me how I need to behave when it is my squad is wrong. I think I push harder then most people on the servers I play on. If I want to take a back seat and still be apart of the game I will. I will do more for my team over 20 rounds being a squad leader then 90% of players have done in the last 4 months. So going sniper for 30 minutes to take a break is just fine with me.
And if I have to knock a dumbass off a ledge, to benefit the rest of the squad, then sometimes, you just have to spank the dog to learn.

LOL, ya, someone spawned in front of me one time, and because I was prone, his spawning was in a prone position. He got a shot right up his large intestine because he spawned the second I was pulling the trigger.
