Listen, If you have 50% or over of your sniper kills with the l96, yeah, I dont think of you as a sniper, with that gun it takes no skill, now if you use the svd, or m24, and have atleast 45% accuracy witm them, your a sniper in my book.

I would like to point out something, [MyIs]spetsnaz isnt just a good sniper but a good all around player. One of the few that Ive played against that it was obvious out classed me.
Back to the sniper thing, Sometimes you need to hide on top of the crane and sometimes thats the last place you need to be. It depends on the players and the map. The Idea is to do the most unexpected thing, Ive actually made several kills by laying in the middle of the street because the other players didnt look for me there.
Ive had people push me off of the building or into the line of fire, its a true case of bad game play. Because of others acting in this way I usually will get my revenge one way or another. When it happens I usually will get even and then move to another server. . . . . . . . .Red

The m24 and the L96 are the same weapon just different sound signature and crosshairs, who you consider to be a sniper or not will not bother the community at large, just make you seem like an arsehole of the highest order. Personally I dont see anyone in games as "snipers" "soldiers" etc. because it's a game, get them to adjust for windage and elevation in the real world and 99% will be buggered.

only really good snipers I have seen are [myis] spezna or whoever, a clan mate of mine, and me (dont mean to brag just the best I have seen..

Most gamers couldn't care less Snipers don't really contribute to victory.

are you effing kidding me. Some of my best games have been as a sniper with over 100 kills and like 4 deaths dont even use the no contribution excuse plus if people played like a team like the game was intended they would do alot more use plus if a sniper is innefective is if he is new just like any pack....i guarentee the first 5o times you were in a chopp or jet you blew monkey balls. or the first 10 games as a commander you were like wtf

so if someone on YOUR TEAM comes up to u and pushes u off a hill

then does it again, again u have 4 choices

1. tell an admin
2. TK the Fecker
3. change Team
4. leave the server

now me i would just TK his arse because players like that are no good to any team

By just reading your posts in this topic, they stink of displaying a sense of overbearing self-importance...
It does not matter which weapon you use in this game. You use the weapon you are best with weather it be a L-96, SVD or M-24.
The L-96 is the BEST rifle in this game bar none. That is the reason why I use it, I'am playing to win for my team. If you really think that by using a sh*t rifle and finishing the round on the losing side with a sh*t score makes you the better sniper then you really are fu*king dumb...
