It wasn't part of the Original Build anyways once BF2 was released, I think that came a few patches after... Thats why I started a new one

When I created my account name, I was not aware that I was going to be permanently tied to it. Had I known, I would have put more thought into it. Do you feel the same way?

Why not have the log-in screen be your PID, and then you just select which name you want to play "under" that day? They'd all share the same stats, the same history, because they'd all be linked to the same PID, which anyone could see.

Give everyone the ability view people by their PIDs or "current nick". It would be a like a serial number or SSN - it's your one lifetime number, no matter what you're calling yourself that day.

Thay way, people could hop clans, or change their names to reflect their current favorite girlfriend/car/pet gerbil, and nobody has to go through the stupidity of having multiple accounts because of broken clan affiliations or having made a bad choice when they were in that hot rush to get the game installed and start playing.

I don't wish I could change my name, but that's just me. I use Calaros for anything and everything, and I love the name :)

Well I started in december of 05 and I think the patch was 1.12 or something...anyways, I didn't know and would like the ability to change it. With the stats I have now I don't really want to start a new account :hmm:

I didn't know the chinese army is going to be in it so I used "ppls-liberation-army" felt lame after I realised people's liberation army is in it anyway! Otherwise I would have used kittenslayer!

Umm no...obviously you can't change your name and keep the account info the same...should have thought about that when you made your account.

they should have a one week period where every1 can change there name, so they can get a bttr one of they co*ked it up the furst time or remove certain tags etc
