i play because bf2 rocks :P but i really do kinda think its taking over my life..so when i hit this new rank of 200.000 points i think i'll quit.

I love BF2. It's a great game.

Even though there's a lot of bugs in it, i actually like bitching and moaning about the exploits etc. It all adds to the 'battlefield 2' experience. Then, you get all excited when a new patch is on the way.

But we still play. How come?

For me:

I can no longer play Diablo 2, after 5 1/2 years it somehow got stale...

I work night shifts; I wake up at 9 PM and go to bed at 11:30 AM!

How about you?

i play it beacause its realistic and a fun game to play ... plus, it takes my mind of things i dont wanna think about ... and its sumthink i can take my anger out on... like go around killing people thats my kind of fun

Its one of those games. Made absolutly screwed up by the dev.s but if you have the right people in a server it can be an enjoyeble round.

I play it because besides bf42 it is the closest to real action I have found. BF2142 though does not interest me in the least.

I nearly failed university because of Doom 1. Hard to believe that now.

I stopped playing BF2 last year due to "bugs" (choppers stronger than tanks, being rammed and racking up tk's, red bug). I didn't just whine on forums, I did actually stop playing for months.

Although my hours are dropping again now it's a damn good game if you have the experience to predict / prevent bugs and avoid unbalanced situations (jet vs AA).

Might see y'all in QW then, but ranked bug free mods would keep me playing BF2!!

well i almost got fried from my job. beacuse i was doing real good. on this one server. i was flying a jet. and i sux at flying. but i was 27 and 0. so i keep playing.

The game is good! no issues for me with any patch. The best part is I found an entire community that plays the game the way I liked it played.

I play because its fun to join up on a server and play the only game of its kind. Bugs aside this game is fun!

I sometimes think im psychologically addicted to bf2, i have moments in real life where i actually think im holding an m24 sniper rifle.

i still play it because my wife wont let me buy anything else. Also its cos there arent many games that really float my boat.

I'm thinking of going back to UT99
I cant put my finger on what it is though im sure the stats/awards and other issues like crashes and stuff have all played their part in my growing boredom.
I still regard the gameplay in instagib UT as the best ever.
Oh well.
