cos i love flying a plane and killing loads of people. also like being a sniper, great fun if the commander doesnt constantly artilarly or spot you with his cheating assets.
medic sometimes for self healing ak47/101 infantry battles.
everything else about the game is **** tho.

BF2 is still a great game. Nothing is better. Dice did a great job, and EA is doing everything they can to make it crap.

It's addictive. It's fun to do well. It's very fun to outwit somebody.

I used to play DCX against mixed bots and people on a server I ran with some friends, and that was fun because it was a stunt-fest, but playing exclusively against real, live people with no bots is 10x more fun, because of the challenge involved.

Sure, the game has problems, and there are lots of immature players. Sometimes my luck in the game is diabolically bad, and of course EA seems to be doing their level best to completely eff everything up, but it's still fun, and that's the only reason I play.

But what's so fun about it?

The high speed fights, the running around shooting everything that moves stuff can be a lot of fun, but what's really satisfying to me is when you see someone, and without even thinking about it, you've got a plan of action, you sneak around and set a trap for him, and then it all works out that your name is to left of his.

When that happens, it's good, and depending on how smart he is, it can be very good. Usually good enough to make me log back in for more.

I dont play it anymore, although admitedly I played it for about half an hour today, I play PRMM instead, CSS, The hidden & AA

QFT, that and because I'm waiting for qw.

It's fun, I still havent' reached my rank goal (90,000) and I can still challenge myself when I walk down the long road of becoming leet in the heli.

Also, there's no other game out right now that I feel like playing.

Population/Community - there are still plenty of servers to choose from, not necessarily tried and true servers, but servers nonetheless.

and if the net was down or something, i still might kick up a singleplayer game, just to take some frustration out with some facet of the game (usually something to the effect of what sloi said).

honestly though and i hate to admit it, it's warfare's toys all in a game without actually hurting anybody. war gets nasty as every day of mankind unfolds.

Because of the variety of gameplay, ranking system, fun factor, imersion, comunity and becasue other games like CSS(although freakin awesome) are just like BF2 demo's to me without aaaaaall the other cool stuff you can do.

I also think this game has lots and lots of those 'moments' you find yourself in that you reflect on afterwards and think 'Wow that was really intense and so bloody cool'

It has bugs, but the all the joy that this game brings FAR outweighs them by so much it isn't even comparable.

I guess what I'm trying to say is...
