Why do people drink period? It must be fun right? I drink alone and play BF2 on weekends sometimes, and have a blast. I also have a huge network of friends.
What? Do you only drink with friends at parties or bars? Does that somehow make you less pathetic than someone being comfortable in their own skin or even perhaps enjoy themselves without the need for others. Take your clichet judgements and hit the bricks.

If drinking isn't good I don't see how being around a bunch of other drunk people make it any better.

It takes the edge off, and combine one stress reducer (games) with another stress reducer (alcahol), its no wonder that one enhances the other... its like drinking and taking drugs (im not young enough to know what taking drugs is called now-a-days)...

Drinking 2 or 3 beers at a reasonably slow pace and knocking down a few rounds of BF2 is the perfect way to melt away the days stress.

Yeah, whenever I drink and play, I always find it takes forever to even get through one beer. I am pretty intense when I play and kinda forget about my brew. I do the same with any drink come to think of it, I will bring a huge glass of water when I start playing and after like 3 hours, I will have drank about a dixie cup full...

haha or better yet, ice-water.... I sit down with a huge cup of water (like, football stadium souvenire sized) and I start playing... first time I think to take a sip, all the ice is melted and 3 hours has passed.

TKE hardly counts as a fraternity...

Maybe where you went/go to college... every chapter is different; and just for the record we're one of the oldest fraternites around (1899) and we're the largest, and one of the few international fraternities.

heh, Yeah, when I saw TKE in your name I was struck with some collegiate nostalgia... Every chapter is different, but at Florida State, in the mid 90's, TKE was for jagoffs and nerds.
