lol, I've been drinking, and playing SF...

I got on a server that was playing the night maps (Levithan, spefically, which I never play... because no server really has it in rotation), but I TK'd about 10 people in two games on accident; the damn uni's look so alike and I'm not used to what they look like, disregarding my un-soberness.

Also, I took a transport filled with 2 guys and flew it for a few seconds and landed onto one of my own flags... lol... I was like damn! wtf!

Sometimes the alcohol affects my brain before I can start to feel it in my body.. and apparently I was quite inhibited when it came to team flags/uniform colors.. and I don' t normally play that bad when messed up, when I'm bombed, yeah sure I go 1 kill 10 deaths, but I was hardly feeling anyting.

I don't think the 2000 mg of percocet helped either.

Anyone have any similar fuxxed up experiences?

I used to play CS drunk, didn't really affect my ability to pwn, regardless of inebriation.

I'm surprisingly really, really good at Street Fighter when drunk. Can still do Shun Gokkusotsu and everything.

2000 mg percocet? are u Fu**ing retarded? You do realize a 2000mg percocet would send you to unconsciousness probably permanently right? They give people with broken bones 5mg percy's and 10's if they are lucky. 10's u gotta snap in half otherwie you'll be puking your ass off.

I was very drunk one night and when I came home I thought "Hey, let's play some BF2 'till I get tired!"

Stupid idea.

I ended up sitting in a Vod at my own flag thinking "WTF is with this flag, it just won't change!!"

Yeah, I regularly drink by myself... I picked up the habit at college and when I come back home I still enjoy the habit but you gotta drive to find company... plus I have a mini fridge 1.5 feet away from my mouse hand.

Yeah, I have friends, fraternity brothers and plenty of random pu$$y on call, but the numbers are a lot less here at home.

I am 39 years old and I like to have a few beers or run & cokes while playing .. big whoop

sitting there alone and getting **** drunk slobbering all over ytourself is pathetic, but a few pops after work when the kids go to sleep sets mr right for some carnage :)

Don't be dissing the guy cause he's having a couple of beers while playing, a lot more people are doing it than you think! Even if you've got plenty of friends, girlfriends and whatnot, it's still awesome teaming up with some online buddies on TS and getting drunk, playing all night!! :)

Gotta pull out this old article about gaming and drinking now, it belongs in every alcohol+gaming related thread

The magazine PC Zone, October 2003 issue, featured a six-page article about gaming and drinking.

4 members of their staff played 3 games throughout the night, as they were drinking a lot of alcohol. The games played were Midnight Club 2, Counter Strike: Condition Zero, and ISS3.

Their performance were monitored and recorded in a number of different scientific ways, and here's the result:

When starting to drink, their performance increased, and reached its top after 8-10 units of alcohol. When they went over 10 units, the performance dropped drastically, being totally terrible by the time they got to 20 units!

So next time someone yells at you because you're drinking and playing, you can tell them it's scientifically proven that your performances improve :p

For the record, a unit of alcohol is one of the following:
- 1/2 pint (i.e. 0,32 litres) of beer
- 1/2 glass of wine
- 12-15cl of 40% booze
