I got kicked for saying "I'm going to blow up their assets."

No warning, just insta-kick.

Apparently their server is set to kick for anything beginning in a-s-s, like assistance. Bunch of geniuses running some servers.

Worse yet, is all these people who have zero sense of free speech. You wanna type something in the chat window? Go ahead, it's a free country. Or at least, it used to be, until all you Politically Correct afraid-to-offend-anyone people got server admin rights.

Actually they likely have that word as a wild card not literal in BF2CC.

There is no such thing as free speech. If you were to come to my state(michigan) and stand out in the streets cussing, you would get a ticket for breaking the Obsenity law and possibly Disorderly Conduct.

People who feel the need to cuss in games are just showing what a limited vocabulary they have and dont know how to express themselves in any other way. I am thankful servers have swear filters so i am not subjected to such ignorance.

Admins can ban for any or no reason, so....... Dont cuss but still this isnt a childs game so i dont see why there is a filter.

The game is rated Teen. 13 is still a child. Plus theres a time and place for cussing. I build houses for a living and on the job site i cuss like the proverbial sailor/truck driver, but that doesnt mean i want to see it whilst playing a game.

Cussing doesnt bother me much but when i want to let lose on a dumb freakin commander I would like them to know what i really think.

I've gotten kicked for saying banned words such as: WTF, ****** (kicked too often for this one) and noob.

It sucks, especially on the acronym... WTF

I had something like that, I got TK-d on purpose by someone, punished him...and he started to swear at me. So I said "thanks a bunch you *ss". And I got banned :) . I felt pwned, he must have been laughing, he TK-d me on purpose and used multiple swearwords, and got away it it.

Does anyone know what clan runs this server and do they have a website? I have made a few searches but i can't find it. I think they are a dutch clan but i may be wrong.

I got kicked for saying ''assets'' when I was telling my team to blow the commanders assets up, kick for the word ''ass'' tsh. I think its really bad a game can get into the state its in, its like servers are communist, theres no freedom of speach. You can't say **** **** **** or what not without being kicked, its so stupid.

Umm, there is no free speech on private property. Servers are private property. It's like saying you have zero sense of free speech if you have guests over and ask them not to swear in front of the kids. Your house, your rules...their house, their rules.

I then check the map and notice him and his buddy are positioned right behind the spawn point pkm's at the ready.
I then proceeded to call him a noob and try and get points the fair way etc etc. I was then kicked and banned from the server for saying the word noob. How lame is that.

LOL, I think this has got to be the funniest thing I have read in a long time!

I hate when people spend more time typing than fighting in the game. You needed to be kicked, you noob!
