Copy all of the files from:
C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\shaders_client
to:
C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\shaders

And it happends when i load a map, then when verifing my files the game just pops back to the multiplayer server selection screen. With the message in the middle :S.

I moved the zip archive into the shader folder. I stoped getting the shader error message during start up.

I have been told that you need to reinstall the 1.41 patch to get rid of the "unmodified B2" error message.

It took me ages to find this thread but thanks, im just installing 1.41 now,
oh and does anyone know how to change < this thing it says im a private but im nearly staff sgt?

Yep now all you need to do is reinstall 1.41 or install it if you havent it is will be fixed I am glad it is as easy as that.

I tried your first step but when I tried to copy the second part from the C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\xpack\shaders_client
it said it could not be found. WTF

had the same problem!!!! ok, unistall bf2 and sf. then install them both and run the 1.41 patch [whenever u get a ptach save it so u dont have to keep getting it..] it should work cos it did for me...

Had the same problem folks. I tried to install the 1.41 patch, and it went through patching regular BF2, but half way through the patch of SF, it stops, and clicks off...can someone please help?
