The majority, so if all else fails, I could still play 1.0 and get score, but only if I can find a ranked server... That sounds ok... Anyway, like I said, usually most files I download over 100mb go corrupt. I'm not entirely sure why, but they do. However, I'm going to try :P

Too_much_bf2, All the individual patches basically, as I've got 1.0 o_O

Anyway, no ranked servers up for 1.0 so I'm continuing with the full 1.3 patch (16% dled so far) and if that doesn't work, I'll try updating patch by patch.

No, I don't pause them...

I think its because I've had this PC for about 5 years or more now... And its getting old..

Anyway, for some reason, it didn't go corrupt, so I'm happily playing now :O

Is there a "Newbie guide" anywhere (Don't say the manual, I can't read mine because it's in Polish), BF2 is very different from other FPS's I've played.

Matt,
Most of the latest pc mags will have the patch on the disk that comes with the mag.
you will not find any 1st version servers out there so its 1.3 for you my friend.

also do a google serch for bf2 forums and read as much as you can as they are everywhere. I have had a great time with bf2 and meet some great people whilst playing. hope you have fun m8
