    maybe that the levels are small so they had to scale things down. and they only want 2 AA's fired from a stinger at a time, longer range means you could potentially shoot 4 and planes dont have enough flares to cope. notice how the essex and mobile aa can really give a jet a hard time ??

      DC had radar, the mobile AA had radar (Shilka), etc.. This makes far too much sense, therefore it will be left out and something else we do not wish to have will be implemented instead (ie cartillery)

        Totally insignificant post alert:

        Has anyone else noticed that the satellite trailer is really a radar trailer?

        I mean, think about it... the antenna is rotating. Round and round and round. That doesn't work with satellites.

        If they're not geosynchronus, they'll generally upload their data to a geosynchronus bird, which is what you'd lock onto for your sat. feed in any event.

        Bottom line = having a rotating "satellite" trailer shows a pathetic lack of understanding on the developers' part. But hey it looks cool, so that's all that matters.
