Lag since 1.3

Hi guys I was just wondering if anybody else is getting constant lag since installing the 1.3 patch I have read a few posts stating about lag spikes but no one seems to mention constant lag. My ping is usualy quite stable at 45 ish now I constantly fluctuate upto 300+ then back down. Ive been replacing modems and routers thinking this is my issue but no, I have been with my isp for over 12 months and have never had issues like this before. The game runs perfect in single player so settings are fine, and spec forces does the same thing. PB has been manually updated and a full reinstall plus I downloaded the full patch and used that. I ran Americas Army for the sake of a test to see if its a latency issue with my isp but no a constant 50 ping in that game and it ran fine. Id just like to hear if anyone else is experiencing the same issue.

Your not alone, i get lag even though i have a ping averaginf 15 to UK servers it was fine before the 1.3 patch

neither i did lag spikes but even that bareley the only lag i get is pretty bad and that only when i just spawn right as a join a game

same whit me on some locations but on most time its good but then when
i dont want lag then i GET THE FRIGGEN LAG

For some reason after the 1.3 everytime I first join a game I have major lag at the start. I usualy get put back at the join game screen then the lag comes and goes. Sometimes I get a lot of lag, lots more than befor 1.3.

Might seem stupid to you but I have an issue here im tring to solve and finding out if players have constant lag like I do, and see if it be a 1.3 problem or if its some kind of network or isp issue. You obviosly have no issues and are one of the lucky ones so basicly if you have no decent input to add to this tread them F%$CKOFF and go play BF2 and let us sort out some issues.

I thought it was the patch, but turns out it was just having too many background programs running.

Here we go lets start a flame the person who started the thread. Its a legitimate question not a stupid comment so dont bother wasting time here if the thread does not interest you, wheres the moderators when you need them. I just might point out to you and your mate the rules of the forums if your unfamiliar with them I suggest you read them particulary rule 6

Update: Installed a couple of more games and tried them and ping is smooth as a baby's bum so Im assuming that some how the netcode has been altered either serverside or client to be giving us these issues.

Where's the option for no lag at all? I constantly have 150-250 ping in U.S. servers and I never experience any lag, including lag spikes.

Nice one Viss, I´ll start all my new threads Quoting rule 6 :) .

I think that maybe the code has been changed, I use battlefield autoloader to run the game and search for good servers, but since 1.3 got out that program doesn´t detect most of the servers and the ones that it detects gives you pings that are tottaly out of the scale.

1.3 has almost killed Battlefield.I never had a problem until it came out.
Really a mind boggling. This is a company putting out these lame patches.
In any other business if you put out something this lousy to your customers you would be canned on the spot.Talk about your high standards for quality control.
