    It's that simple.
    Yep.

    Pretty much.

I looked over the stats for the weekend, and did several refreshes including not-ranked servers, it looked to me like there was a drop in the amount of play so I think the boycott had some effect, I will continue to look at the server stats, see if the drop sticks. When you have no one left to play you remember all this, and hope that you haven't already been duuped into buying AF or 2142.

        You're funny.

Do you think a drop on servers is going to have an impact.

The admins prepaid for the servers, so EA/Dice already got the money. So you're only hurting the admins. Having paid for an empty server.

People can boycott all they want their only hurting other players not EA/Dice.

Maybe if i stop buying these things i won't feel like an idiot getting ripped off!"

60% of people here will probably wind up buying AF.

I am boycotting it, no way am i fallign for the hype.
I've already been screwed with Euroforces and I only make the same mistake 6 times (BF1942 + expansionpacks, BFV and BF2) so no way I'm going to buy anymore crap from EA.

EA takes a share of the server money, so if the server admins boycott too it will help, I know people are making a living off the servers they run, but they are supporting a company that hasn't done right by the public. EA / DICE gets money from every Booster pack sold, when the server admins shut down because nobody plays on their servers, or pays to rent them, it will change things.

If we don't get them to fix it, then the server admins are going to have to switch to supporting another game.

Qtracker has a total 3405 servers listed, 3379 active and 12417 players online.
            GSI numbers gpm_cq 6576 servers, 25313 players

Good luck finding a game after QW: ET comes out, I am switching at this point, at least to try it out. BF2 has gone down the toliet. BTW after looking through the active EA server list most are still running the older 1.22 patch not the 1.3? Can anyone explain this to me?
