i agree, they shld have squad cycling returned, n keep squad hopping away. what i mean is, u can still switch around in the squad, as to who becomes leader but if u want to change squads, u gotta respawn. this means any1 in the squad can become squad leader through this cycling.

This type of thing has been going on forever, and with other developers. If you really want change, then don't buy any of their products. But as long as you keep buying the BF2's and BF2412's, they'll keep this **** up.
What we should do is hack EA's database, and change that 'Download 1.3 Now!' message box into 'Boy(k,c)ott this ****ty game right now!!!!!! And also DO NOT BUY Armored Fury!!!'.
I blame it on the whiners that give the duff patches, yes EA create them but the community (whiners) request them.
I play BF2 less and less not because of the patch but because of the smacktards, sometimes I think that people are p1ssed at EA and want to take it out on other people playing the game by doing senseless teamkills etc, to push people away from the game, alough if someone tk's me for a vehicle I will make sure their gaming experience is destroyed for that round or 2, not only is tking for a vehicle ignorant but its pointless.
Boycotting EA, I doubt it will do much, I mean it might give them a hint that they are doing something wrong, if it was me and I made the decisions I would revearse the process and release a patch the same as 1.12, bunnyhopping, dolphing diving, doesn't bother me as such.
Im surprised its just the patch that pushed you away, I mean everytime I went in a server on Wake (its like my favourite map) and if im on the USMC, J10's rape the carrier, if im on the PLA, they rape the airfield. I have seen it all, my whole team get raped by one tank whore on Karkand, my whole team get raped by one J10 on Wake, my whole team get raped by one MI-28 on Sharqi. Really what annoys you more being raped constantly by some smacktard tking you for vehicles or EA's patches? I'd say the smacktards tking you for vehicles then they whore up the map every round not giving a fu*k about their teammates, im tired of that crap and its happened every round I have played for the last 2 weeks, my tk's have gone up considerably, my suicides have gone up (from someone throwing a buggy infront of my jet so I crash into it giving me a ''no more''). Sometimes I wonder if its better to follow the smacktards rather than oppose them.
Although you make some great points, ultimately EA/Dice or whomever they subcontracted to support bf2 is at fault.
The whiners don`t prevent players form using teamwork on a server, or using
some sort of diplomacy when it comes to who gets what vehicle on a map.
I refuse to believe EA/Dice has ever really done what the communtiy wanted from the start. I don`t remember taking part in any votes as to how to change the gamepley or game features. They just did it, based on a whim it seems.
I doubt the boycott will do much, but I will support it, I also would ask those who enjoy mods do the same. It really seems that`s what they were targeting with this patch. My ingame browser works fine for vanilla, yet I`m having problems finding servers for any of the mods I enjoy. As well as the attempt to prevent stats by those mods. All this the same week as AF release. I don`t think this is a coincidence.
Because of this lame move by them, I will not be purchasing AF. I have bought all the others, even EU ;(
My 1.3 patch has worked great, a little longer to load but everything works.
No boycott here, I will be playing on June 3rd and I will purchase 2142.
Why? because I like computer games and I understand that we all spent $80 on a game and it's just a ****'ING GAME!

EA's answer as always is just "Uninstall and reinstall", I'm convinced their tech help is like a damned answer machine with the same message for everything. I don't want to spend the best part of a day doing that on the OFF CHANCE it MIGHT work.

It takes no more than 20-25 minutes to uninstall, reinstall and apply the 1.3 full patch. Not nearly the best part of a day.
