No you cant. You can only throw vehicles that are loaded with the map.
In Karkand for example, you only can drop Vodniks, Humvees, M1A2s and T90s.

how do i save it back as a .con file

The file is read-only. Make sure you have a backup copy of your server.zip as you will not be able to play online anymore if you modify it.

nice work in photoshop, just imagine how F'd up the game would be if you could drop tanks, aww i can just feel the rape already

When you say this works on multiplayer and EA will ban me... If I do the changes to said and I forget to change them back before joining an online game, what will happen ? EA will know and ban my cdkey ?

You will be kicked from the server, saying you should please revert your original files.
Nothing more.

God I wish I could really drop tanks.

In US Intervention, you can drop M551 Sheridan Tanks in the next patch :p

just edited the con file so that us drops a cobra and the mec drop a havoc but it doesn't work, as soon as i try to drop one, the game crashes... anyone know why? btw what did you do to get the jet in??

Thats easy: You can only throw vehicles that are loaded with the map.
In Karkand for example, you only can drop Vodniks, Humvees, M1A2s, T90s, LAV-25s and BTR-90s.
To spawn a new vehicle you must replace an existing spawner with a new one.
Ask in the mapping section how to do this :p
