Ok, found out how to do it.

Open up:
C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\Levels\Strike_at_Karkand\server.zip

Inside init.con

Find:

gameLogic.setTeamDropVehicle 1 "jep_vodnik"

Replace with:

gameLogic.setTeamDropVehicle 1 "RUTNK_T90"

MEC now drops T-90 on Karkand.

To get unlocks in single player do this:

Locate the file "unlocks.py" located in <Drive Letter>Program Files\EA GAMES\.....
