I will say i got well into the no squad hoping, but for clan matches, i would like to be able do it. ALso, people dont work as squuads in public. Trying find a good server is like drawing blood out of a stone

I've seen no evidence of any problems at all with the gamearena servers in Australia. One issue that came up on installation in the LAN cafe where I play was that the patching failed silently (ie no overt error but game woudn't work) on some machines where there wasn't enough space on drive C.

Overall, I like it.

Couldn't be further from the truth. GameArena #9 is my favourite server, the lads join my squad to say hi when I join. Gamearena servers are currently crashing so frequently that the server never reaches the 3rd map in the rotation. Internode is no better, gave up on Internode #12 (Wake) tonight after numerous connection problems and crashing.

For those who question if the server is indeed crashing I verify it every time. I use BF2Tracker or QTracker to look up the server, and every time it is not responding, yet every other server in the list is responding. When it does start responding it's back at the first map in it's rotation with 0 players present. Conclusive proof every time of the server crashing and restarting, a pattern I am now all too familiar with.

In my experience that would happen maybe once in a 24 hour period on GameArena, now it's happening up to 3 times an hour.

Given the plethora of petitions, boycotts, polls, formal complaints by server admins, and server hire cancellations it very obvious that the game is now in a complete mess.

i dont know what peeps problems are with the squad thing, you can still join on the squad leader! and im next to him and im a medic alot so i revive him if he dies ill sacrifice my life to save his just becuase i know i can join on him in 15 seconds so if u guys dont like the squad thing just be a medic or have a good medic

Err, your understanding of squad hopping and the changes with 1.3 seems a little simplistic.

I think we need a poll, from what I can gather the 64 player servers are worse for crashing, and the 32 player servers are more stable?

SO you think the games alright!!!! Obviously you dont pay towards servers that you play on then which is fair enough, While alot are moaning about little things like should/shouldnt vehicle drop be added (i personally think its **** and just ridiculas) and should they have nerfed squad hopping (DEFINATLY NOT, KICK IN THE TEETH TO CLANS THAt fund servers!!!!)

I don't have any problems either, but I really don't like the vehicle drop. Has anyone seen the glitch on how to destroy arty with a jeep?
