I hate it when commadners drop arty on a single enemy when there are a whole bunch of teammates around, and he knows that we will kill him easily. Then we all get tk'ed.

When commanding you pretty much have to keep your eyes on the entire map all at once, and it is a tough job being everywhere at once so to speak..Here is what I do:

1.) Run SCAN....get an idea for where your team is going. You can also see how far the enemy is advancing. If you see a clear flag near your team/a squad put a UAV between the flag and where the enemy is approaching. Spot enemies within the radius of your team, no one cares about a sniper on the opposite corner of the map. Just dont get all annoying with it.

2.) Use your UAV's when a squad is trying to get a flag. Instead of wasting it on 1 lone sniper in the middle of nowhere, use it where it will be the most effective.

3.) Prioritize supply drops. Make sure your advancing armor gets supply crates first and formost. They will be taking on enemy armor (hopefully) and could use repairs as they fight their way through the streets.

4.) When you drop artillery, make sure you try and anticipate or lead the target. Since it takes like 10 seconds or whatever for artillery to actually hit the target from the moment you place it, make sure you can approximate the location that your enemy will be by the time the arty hits. You will even get lucky once in a while and destroy a tank or something, dont just shoot for that. It's easier to wipe out infantry. Whatever you do dont drop arty near your team, it p!sses people off getting artied by their own commander.

5.) If you have squads/people in multiple squads be sure to give them some orders. Don't send a squad of 2 people all the way to the other side of the map through all kinds of crap. Chances are they will respond with a big "F U BUDDY!!!" Instead, give specific orders to squads that actually ahve a chance of being successful with your orders. Also, dont aska squad of snipers to fix your assets, chances are they wont. Just look for the engineers and ask them to do it. If all else fails, use supplly drops.

Takes some practice but it's fun. GL!

i think its funny to give them a shot in the leg. then they freak out and run around to make sure no enmies are around, when they notice.

I only shoot commanders when they spam "enemy infantry spotted".

Listen, i dont care if the uav is elsewhere. I'd rather get killed than to have to listen to "enemy infantry spotted" the entire round, i need the game sounds to perform well, okay. And ontop of that its just bloody annoying.

Don't you know that pr4wn1ng the comamnder can cost you the round.
Was the UAV out at the time, was he spotting 'runners' behind your frontlines?

In my experience if the commander is spotting, he knows what he's doing. And conversely, if the commander never spots, there's a strong chance he's some nub and his commanding may cost you the win.
