Combat Infantry Medal question

Ok this is starting to irritate me.

I have nearly 300 hours, all the basic badges, most of the verteran badges and a couple of Expert yet I still havent been awarded the Combat Infantry Medal

What am I missing?

Maybe just one of those EA bugs that dont give you the medal,i remember when the game first game out ppl had problems earning certain badges because of a bug maybe thats whats happing

better not be. Ive actually started putting effort in to getting badges and not being able to get that one would realy annoy me

Yea i hope its not either,its sucks working hard for something and you dont get it even though its a game,its still fun to earn awards :)

You need 300 hours, not nearly 300 hours.

Gold knife silver pistol (64 person servers with 20ish people on) no cheating for this cat

300 hours? how come all the sites Ive seen say 200

300 hours is for Marksman, Buzz, not Combat Infantry. Combat Infantry is 200 hours and the basic badges. Marksman is 300 hours and all the veteran badges. Sharpshooter is 400 hours and all the experts.

Why you haven't got Combat Infantry I have no idea.

You last played on 22 May, Buzz, according to your stats on bf2player. These requirements we're discussing are the revised requirements under the new (1.3) patch, which was released after that. Under the old requirements, there was also an IAR requirement, I believe.

Perhaps you didn't meet the old requirements but now do meet the new requirements...? In which case, you should get it as soon as you patch to 1.3 (if you haven't already) and then play in a ranked server.

If you don't get it then, I'm out of ideas.

considered that, was my last real hope before I had to snap on a Dev or something :)

These shouldnt be revised stats, been working on it for a while, long before talk of 1.3

These medals used to have a 34 minutes in a round requirement (this I remember for marksman and sharpshooter, may have been slightly less for combat). Even though this requirement no longer shows up on BF2s or BF2Player, it may still be a requirement. Worth a try anyway.
