well me an are clan were in are server then the error came up connection problems inwhich locked the game.
but we could go back to menu options,
every body that was on teamspeak also had the same problem that about 8 of us!
so now tell me its client side!
i dont think so.
EA/DICE have released apatch thats not complete an it dosnt matter if you say its client side as a couple of us gamers have found out its not the case.
all the errors start an end with EA's CRAP patch's

I agree. This patch is a disaster. I didn't have any issues with 1.22. Now I get so many problems, i think twice about even playing.

Sorry dude, i read your posts everyday, and on the whole i have respect for you. But if you seriously beleive this im afraid your sadly mistaken.

There IS an increase in the number of server crashes. At least 4 communities have stated that they are having serious issue's with server crashes since the introduction of 1.3. As far as i know they all have different server providers. Are you saying all those providers are unable to correctly patch their servers when they have all succeeded in the past?

Yup, looks like there's some legitamacy to the griping afterall.
Interesting to note that it seems to have nothing to do with the patch at all... it was a background communications issue between BF2 and Gamespy.

Very strange that I was able to play for such a long time without having any issues last night.

Why are so obsessed with defending the indefensible? Just because wherever you were playing lucked out and didnt crash means nothing. Serverside is screwed, clientside is screwed. It is so widespread that is statistically impossible that it can be an end-user problem. In the meantime EA state that they will fix the server browser and your bizarre semantic argument is that it was nothing to do with the patch at all. Well WHO CARES, they still broke it!

Truth be told, I've got some serious bones to pick with EA.

I am opposed to Chicken Little Syndrome, however.

now thats all in the same sentance so there for there on about the patch that went into the servers in the first place!
if the patch that was updated to the servers was running ok then we wouldnt be having these problems.
there for it is the patch's error not the server,the servers get updated with the patch prior to us getting it.
ever heard the saying **** roles down hill,
well the programers are at the top followed by the servers then us at the bottom.

Usually when TS's connection is lost it is actually a problem with the TS server your on.. ive never frozen, crashed or anything whilst on TS and playing BF2..

Read the initial post AGAIN, he is refering to the BF2 servers, NOT teamspeak

Dude I have been on 8 different servers all of which I was on ts with clan mates and we got disconnected at differnet times. Sometimes it would come back most the time though I got shot back with a message displayed "Connection to the server has been lost".

This was in the midst of crashing to the desktop a few times. !.3 sucks! I will not be buying AF either. It wasn't just me almost the entire server disconnected one of my clan mates manage to stay in, and was like wow everyone is gone. One of them said he crashed to. We made a little joke about him being the cause since he just joined in and all. So it wasn't just me. This and the connection lost bs!

No faith in EA sorry you guys are **** at this now. **** up this game so you can sell 2142 when BF2 no longer works properly... What a crap company!

Dude, I think you should take English 101 and learn how to speak and write, instead of looking like an idiot in front of people with English as second and third language. Maybe your clan members can help you out if they are educated enough.

P.S. The title of your thread was very informative and descriptive. Very intelligent choice of words.

I have the same problem from time to time,and like you,I blamed EA for crappy net code etc etc...Until I did a tracert to the servers I was getting disconnected from.I found that I was being directed thru a faulty router on hop 14 out to the west coast.Did'nt matter where the server was on the west coast.It was dropping packets so bad you would think I was on dial up.Never had the problem connecting to east coast servers cause I did'nt route thru that crappy router.

Besides last time I checked writing was what we do when we actually stick our pen, or pencil on a piece of paper. I think I am fully capable of reading a ignorant post, especially by the likes of you.
