Wtf?

Dude I have been on 8 different servers all of which I was on ts with clan mates and we got disconnected at differnet times. Sometimes it would come back most the time though I got shot back with a message displayed "Connection to the server has been lost".

This was in the midst of crashing to the desktop a few times. !.3 sucks! I will not be buying AF either. It wasn't just me almost the entire server disconnected one of my clan mates manage to stay in, and was like wow everyone is gone. One of them said he crashed to. We made a little joke about him being the cause since he just joined in and all. So it wasn't just me. This and the connection lost bs!

No faith in EA sorry you guys are **** at this now. **** up this game so you can sell 2142 when BF2 no longer works properly... What a crap company!

Usually when TS's connection is lost it is actually a problem with the TS server your on.. ive never frozen, crashed or anything whilst on TS and playing BF2..

He meant that they were talking on TS but the games servers kept being arses.

Did it occur to you that the server you were playing on might have been poorly/improperly patched?

I haven't been disconnected or crashed or even sufferent unusual lag since I installed 1.3.

I guess it's just easier to blame Dice/EA than to think, hm?

Ive been disconnected once or twice since the patch, but theres tons of other factors you can blame than the patch, like maby the 30+ computers yur connection has to hop thru to get to the server, the servers network itself, or maby even its firewall...Possibly the ISP could be to blame, who knows maby the hamster that powers the server fell off his wheel, the posibilities are endless... dont just blame the obvious

I have noticed some server instability since the new patch, but it's not like that didnt happen before the patch either..

Mostly just disconnected now, instead of c.t.d.

same here this patch fu***d somesh!t up for some peeps before 1.3 everthing was fine this is the first sh!ty patch i get from EA
but they wil fix it i hope

8 different servers we tried. We were on several. As I said it wasn't just me either. Then there was a few CTD. One of which the server went from 50 players to 20. That was pretty bad.

im begin to think your workin for EA/DICE (lol) as virtualy every post youve made about the patch,
is pointed to wards to client an not the actual patch.
you may be one of the lucky ones that it runs ok for but!
it still do's not change the fact that a vast majority of the community is having prob's with the patch.
now i see it this way theres more people having prob's than there is running it normal,
so there i see it this way the programmers have mess'd up again an release'd a unfished or half heart'd patch.
i mean look a vBF2 they release'd that before it was complete so who's saying the same hasnt happened with the patch especially now AF is comin very soon.

Sorry WarGimp but to many people are complaiing about this. It is not the way the patch was installed. It is the patch and EA/Dice should own up to it.

Yeah I mean I aint one to complain, but atleast in 1.22 I could play the game without CTD's and constant connectiong problems. The server browser is worse then before no 'Refresh Button'. We have commanders who apparently have enough power to allow planes to drop vehicles ontop of snipers heads with pin point accuracy.

EA is foul just because they saw Quake Wars was going to have vehicle drops they had to go add that in there. Thats all they are doing is stealing other companies games! If I complain to them they don't do ****, and if I can't make them change their ways then neither can a million other people who feel the same way as me. Its just not going to happen. People will alway buy their buggy games, and will continue to.

I can say this I will not buy 2142 at first. I will watch the forums and see what kind of bugs and issues exist with the game. I will not be going out the first day and buying 2142 like I did with BF2!

I rarely said to much about the other patches other then some of the key things such as balences to the game. We still have the god like J-10 flying around, and we still have the laggy SF helicopters. We even have new bugs introduced ontop of the ones we already had. Such as now the server info hardly ever shows up. We still even have the solo tv guiding except now with the MEC helicopter you can solo gun to!

well me an are clan were in are server then the error came up connection problems inwhich locked the game.
but we could go back to menu options,
every body that was on teamspeak also had the same problem that about 8 of us!
so now tell me its client side!
i dont think so.
EA/DICE have released apatch thats not complete an it dosnt matter if you say its client side as a couple of us gamers have found out its not the case.
all the errors start an end with EA's CRAP patch's

Sorry dude, i read your posts everyday, and on the whole i have respect for you. But if you seriously beleive this im afraid your sadly mistaken.

There IS an increase in the number of server crashes. At least 4 communities have stated that they are having serious issue's with server crashes since the introduction of 1.3. As far as i know they all have different server providers. Are you saying all those providers are unable to correctly patch their servers when they have all succeeded in the past?
