Based solely on the quality of support for BF2, I will not be buying BF2142.

What he said, unless they radically sort out there post-sale customer care, I'll keep a hold of my money thanks.

It's like they've decided, "We did so crappy on BF2, let's just start over on a whole new game, even more ambitious than BF2. Who cares how good we CAN make it, we just want our money now and we know millions will buy it even if it is a crappy game..."

Sounds like EA/Dice have never heard of a feasibility study...

SH1T We've been waiting almost that long for them to get BF2 bugs ironed out. Then again by the time that happens my rig will be worth the same as a ZX80.

Fixing bugs is a complet other story For that one, we are out of control. Yo like the patch or you don't like it. Nothing will change that. It's the same for almost any popular games: Unreal, Quake, GTR, FarCry, GRAW, .... all the same, ...... haters and lovers.

That will never change.

Going back to Id after years of absence. Like I said in another thread, Fool me once, fool me twice. I am sticking with vanilla BF2 till one of the other hot games come along, which is sad, because I was thinking of dividing my time between BF2 and QW, while waiting for BF3.
