    Re: J-10

J-10 is the topic, therefore if u ever thought before 1.3 the J10 was unbalanced and still is, then you elaborate on that. Is it really that hard of a concept to comprehend? You wan't an example with sprinkles? The A2A missles still bounce off the damn thing like tennisballs. The J10 still outmanuevers anything in the game by a longshot.

Well thank you Bob, I'm sorry I failed to account for the fact that most if not all who came to this thread lack the intellect to think outside the box and come to the sole rhetorical understanding of the phrase "J-10 is still SNAFU."

          Well, staying on topic...

I try to spend a lot of time in the air if possible. I enjoy flying in all games. While I don't particularly prefer certain aircraft, the J-10's maneuverability is rather frustrating. Once a J-10 piloted by a semi decent pilot gets behind me, I'm toast in most cases. No matter what evasive maneuver I try, the J-10 can stay right with me. One the flip side of that coin, if I get behind that same quality of pilot in an F-35, there isn't a chance in hell of me staying behind him.

I'm not really sure why they did this or what a sulution would be. Perhaps they made the J-10 more maneuverable to compensate for the fact that many times that airfield can be capped where as the USMC jets are at uncappable bases in many cases. Who knows. It just felt good to get this off my chest.

          Happy fighting.

J-10 superior maneuverability came from Black Hawks superior firepower. Think behind the direct "rock scissor papper" way. However, F35B pilots sucked it up and tried to overcome the problem with bomb HUD... guess who whined their hearts out about teh Black Hawk.

Now we dont have RSP anymore. But we do have one tough to beat bird....

Yep, I think the rock, paper, scissors idea is spot on. Pre-1.2 it was USMC dominating with the BlackHawk, MEC with thier attack chopper and PLA with the J-10. Seems like the other two have been dulled down/negated a bit (the BH more-so than the Mi-28) but the J-10 remains untouched.

If anything the 1.3 patch made it easier for the J-10 with the new friendly missle lock changes.

              my $0.02 anyways
