So far:
1) SORTED THIS PROBLEM( Downloaded as ASCII for some weird reason )
1.3 full wouldnt install, would get the process in task manager( or rather the 2 that appear for the patches ), but it would just exit, i gave the same file to a friend of mine and it worked fine, i downloaded 1.3 Incremental -> worked fine. I have only BF2 installed
2) Server sort on ping, different servers when you click etc,,sort out the array lads :)
3) I see this as a bug and its a side affect of the squadhopping fix, when someone joins a server , then at least can they join a squad the FIRST time when dead, i spent 1 full match thinking everyone was locking the squads deliberately, only to disciver i can NEVER join a squad when dead, not even if ive just joined the game and i am not in a squad initially( obviously )
4) Dont get Co-op mode in Multiplayer/Local Server with incremental patch
Indian scout,mabye you should have a better template for bugs( or mabye its more work for you ) to ensure they are consistent and prevents ranting, e.g.

Yes, i know that DICE called this an "exploit" but it should be a server side setting so everyone is happy. In fact the real problem is: it is hardcoded, so its in all mods too, if they like it or not.
So please: tell them that this is crap and to make it a server side setting or at least that it would be possible to do it in mods.
Dunno if this is directly elated to patch or not but i was gunning for a clanmate and he got connection problems and disconnected as the chopper was heading for the ground and no chance to recover i bailed and parachuted to the ground safely however i got credited for teamkill??
Also have CTD clicking on join gam but only appears to be on some servers but will try joining by pressing esc as previously suggested and will update if any better
still crashing to desktop even trying to join server by pressing escape
Also, sometimes when right-clicking to get out of Air-to-Surface targeting mode, nothing happens. The only way out is to cycle through the various views (with the "C" key) to get back to cockpit view.
It won't let you change views while reloading. But, once reloaded, it lets you change. It's probably just taking enought time for you to hit C, C, C and the reload is done, and it changes your view again.
1.3 has been working fine for me until my last two rounds. The first round, as commander on a 64 player Gulf of Oman, I couldn't get out of cammander mode. The opposing commander was trying to arty me but I couldn't get out to change positions. The next game on a 64 player Karkand match I couldn't move at all with either my mouse or keyboard. When I tried to move my mouse the whole screen shook. nothing happened with the keyboard try. I tried to scroll with my mousewheel to pick a grenade so that I could suicide, but even though it would scroll through th eweapons it would not pick one. I had a guy teamkill me to see if that would help but when I spawned It still wouldn't let me move. Had to Alt F4 it.
One of the things not mentioned is when you select a server and it first loads it shows all zeros for server information (spawn count, FF, ip/port etc etc along with the server message). After that "round" is over everything displays just fine. So far it's happened with EVERY map I playing this morning.
My only gripe is the squad create bug. Was in 1.22 and its still in 1.3. It only seems to happens after the server has gone through several map switches.
Server has to be rebooted inorder to create squads again. FIX IT.
in the 2 seater jets I was in the gunner and it wouldnt let me fire it so I had to literally fool around with it clicking mad going from jet view to the lockon so problem with the heat seeking gunner missiles I guess?
