rule 1: you pay for the server make your rules and as long as they are applied to all thats cool
rule2: if your pubbing and dont like the rules or having been kicked..friggin go elswhere, it's not the only game in town

I am not sure that such a heavy handed approach (making everyone suffer for a few that break the rules) would be considered wise or just outside this forum.

I take it youve never admined a 64 player BF2 server then?

A lot of time, admins ban player by using the excuse of 'EXCESSIVE TEAM KILLING' because the player arty or bomb on admin's uncappable too much......

You may not like the rules, but if you join a server that has these rules and you break them, expect to be banned. There are plenty of other uncap raping, teamkilling filled servers out there. I suggest any EA Official server you care to pick from a hat.

Clearly you havent a clue. The 'EXCESSIVE TEAM KILLING' message that appears after you have been kicked in the pop up box is a generic one and doesnt display the reason the admin gave for kicking you. Most kicks display why you are being kicked in game, on the top left of the screen, then actually kick you 10 seconds later. If you fail to see this message, then it is safe to say you deserve to be kicked purely because the admin has probably already given you numerous warnings which youv'e failed to take note of (or not been paying attention to)

I'm completely in favor of enforced rules, but then I'm not a child. It's the only reason I'll stay on a server more than a round or two. I try to live by the rules of each server and play fair, but if I wasn't I should get kicked. Simple as that. When there are idiots and TK'ers on a server I disconnect almost instantly. Maybe that's why there are so many empty servers out there? Life is short and there's no time to waste on people like that. Anyone that pays for a server has my respect. I wish I had the time and money to commit to that.

no offence, but i hate admins who pause the game. come on, this is an ONLINE game. do you pause n stop for awhile in other online games? do u think this is matrix? put your points across wo destroying others fun. we dont join your server to be Paused...

anyway, although its possible to give u names in other ways while paused, isnt it easier to type ingame? ppl dont play games n send emails at the same time...
n if u r using bf2cc n can c all those in vehicles, y cant u tell who was doing what in the game? were u paying attention?
n u paused for three mins?

no direct offence, but i think u shld learn from others how to better admin your server.
rules shld be enforced, but u shld learn to enforce them in better ways. the police may enforce a no parking zone, but by towing it away n sending it to the scrapyard?
