Sometimes, well thats a word that works both ways, doesnt it? My last ban said that I was banned for excessive team killing. When in reality I was waiting for the shaders to optimize after loading patch 1.3. I got the join screen hit the button and the ban message. On one of my Fav. servers too. I havent been on it in 3 days. Im hopeing it was just a temporary ban.
I myself would rather know up front whats goin on instead of finding out later and getting mad. I really dont like lazy admin either. Im not saying the thread starter is lazy or any thing.(I dont believe Ive played on his server) I just wish they would issue a kick with the right reason attached or a ban when necessary. Not just ban whoever, for fun. Very lame. . . . . . .RedComment

IMHO, admins who imposed NO attacks on uncappables are being unrealistic and moronic. Take WAKE ISLAND map for example, the initial layout is so unbalanced, US team has an uncappable carrier with 3 spawning points, while Chinese team has 5 cappable flags. So the only way for Chinese team to survive till zero ticket is to keep US team from landing even one person on the main island. Otherwise Chinese team will have hard time of driving the US team off the island. So if admin is imposing the no attacking on the uncappable (carrier), the Chinese team is at a very disadvantage point.
Come on, most of players are inexperienced (probably not dumb). the US team has 3 spawning points. No body has to spawn on top of carrier and get bombed or artied everytime.
So my suggestion is:
1. Attacking uncappable is ok, as long it is long-ranged like bombing or arty.
2. camp spawning on uncappable is NO, NO. At least give the loosing team a little chance of survival.
3. Attacking uncappable while there are other flags is OK. Who told those guys to spawn at the uncappable while there are other flag they can spawn from.
A lot of time, admins ban player by using the excuse of 'EXCESSIVE TEAM KILLING' because the player arty or bomb on admin's uncappable too much......Comment

Some help......
1. When using the chat function via BF2CC it's important to get your message noticed by as many as possible. The easy way to do this is to use a notepad to type out your message, then you can see it all.
2. Always use capitals, capitals = admin, also shoot your message out into the play screen by using ........... or >>>>>>>> or ~~~~~~~. Should look like this ">>>>>>>>>>> MESSAGE HERE ".
3. Use ctrl+v to paste blocks of chat, try pasting all messages 3 times together, like this
">>>>>>>>>>>>MESSAGE HERE
>>>>>>>>>>>>MESSAGE HERE
>>>>>>>>>>>>MESSAGE HERE".
You have to be quick to get the 3 lines together in the chat because players are chatting all the time, so do it like this, ctrl+v enter / ctrl+v enter / ctrl+v enter, but be quick.
4. Let the server players know that an admin is live, as soon as your logged into BF2CC type this in chat,
">>>>>>>>>>>SERVER ADMIN IS LIVE
>>>>>>>>>>>SERVER ADMIN IS LIVE
>>>>>>>>>>>SERVER ADMIN IS LIVE".
5. Save some text to notepad, keep it handy on your desktop, have text like ">>>>>>>>>>STOP BOMBING THE ESSEX", " remember the x3 rule.
I'm not preaching to you mate, i understand how hard it is to admin a BF2 server, but you need to make sure your chat text is >>>>>>NOTICED<<<<<<.
I give this advice to all my admins & it seems to work.....
P.S.
Also when you have to reboot the server do this about 1 minute before the end of the game......
