Its great fun to put them on the essex and race. I had a tough time trying to get one on top of a building just right though. I tried like 5 times clicking different places on the roof, but it seemed like it had some kind of reverse magnetism thing going on. They would sort of graze the roof and then fall to the ground and blow up...

Yes!! That's what commander mode needs - tactical nukes! But to make it fair, you should only get to use it if a squad leader requests it. And you should be limited to 30 tactical nukes per round. And they should recharge no faster than every 5 seconds. And if a nuke goes off at a flag, the flag should be destroyed too. Then it'd be a race to destroy flags instead of capturing them.

And EMP! I want EMP too! And submarines with cruise missiles! And how about a pulse rifle from Aliens for a new assault-class unlock? And what about a C&C style orbital ion cannon you can use as well as the nukes, the artillery, the cartillery and the death-by-supply-crate...?

Oh! And Batman. I want Batman, and the Batmobile and the Batplane. And the Batplane better own the J10 too!!

      Lol.

All the above in patch 1.31 anyone...?

Shenanigans. When I was in the 82nd just a couple years ago we were still doing combo drops. We dropped half-tracked engineer vehicles and HMMWVs, then jumped out after them. Never seen it done in theater, but we did it on Sicily and Normandy drop zones quite a bit. Have to slip just right so you don't land on them, though...

My buddies and I got a little bored, so we hosted an LAN server on wake, dropped a buggy on the carrier and raced them, (which is meaningless) All the coop Think of it as
a large supply drop, not long till someone gets killed with a vehicle in a jet.

And yes vehicle drops are realistic, when my buddy was in Iraq, several times he told me, that a few vehicles had to be dropped.

For your information, I'm not. I play USI now, because it's actually good.

Quick correction: Thats not true. If you drop a vehicle on the enemy, you get a roadkill.

              IE. Your_Mom [FAV] Poor_Nub

That being said, its still more useful for dropping to a back base some idiot respawned at so they can move quick.

I think passing judgement on this is a little premature - you know you can kill people with supply drops, right? So who cares about car drops killing people?

The biggest potential issue is dropping on carriers / in the way of jets. However, I am happy about this too - because *finally*, DICE has given us an effective AA weapon. Too bad its a jeep.
