Soloing is alive and if you somehow get shot out of the chopper, you won't have to wait long...

Good change and you can still TV missile solo! Probably one of the few good changes in 1.3, however.

Great now soloing is even more effective than before that little engine cut looks like it would make you an even harder target when soloing than before. But seriously EA thank you for those worthless vehicle drops and your failure to fix the anoying points of the game.

Vehicle drops will bring a new breed of smacktards to every American carrier in bf2. I think they should remain as they are quite entertaining! Seeing an idler get crushed is priceless (the car actually drops where you click it too).

They never intended to stop solo flying, the purpose was to stop empty choppers flying upwards forever. I'd imagine this was mainly aimed at blackhawks as they can leave teams stuck on the carrier for a long time if the blackhawks are drifting into space.
