Which is why I'll only take the tank out as engie or with an engie when I'm VOIPed up with somebody.

Get in a jeep and just follow behind them. Use the tank as a shield, whiile you repair it from in the vehicle. Sweet!

Yeah... get in a jeep as engineer and follow an armour column... Lots of repair points there. Or better still, get in a tank/APC as engineer and join an armour column - lots of repairs and lots of kills that way.
