    Follow the KISS system: Keep It Simple, Stupid.

    "An APC broke through" to commander

    "Incoming troops from the next base" to your squadmates

    "I was just killed by a helo coming your way" to your squad leader.

    Those are just examples. Like the guys before me said, if it takes too long to explain, you're saying too much. The what, where, and how many are important.

      Generally the best commanders just say it simple and fast, three enemies near hotel, chopper headed for base...etc...

        As silent as possible (although it's pretty loud even when trying to be silent) because if volume goes high, my wife will visit switch board and turn the electricity off

        Well anyone else shouting like mad when heat is on??
