When we joined, there qere about 20 ppl per side, of our 6, 4 spawned china, 2 spawned us...

all cofr tags were already on usa, about 8-9 I remember...

so the 2 on usa came to china so it would be more fair, having one squad vs another...

Again, incorrect. I was killing a fellow CoFR member repeatedly with a tank at Security Headquarters and he was on China. I was finally killed and shortly there after he was on USMC and your guy had moved over to China.

Just to make one thing clear here. CoFR isn't a clan and has never been one. We are a gaming community that has been around since early 2000 and BF2 is just one of all the games we play. CoFR stands for Crusty old Fossil Rocker and consists of just that, crusty old geezers that enjoys playing games. We don't get all that much time to game anymore because everyday life tends to cut into our game time but when we do manage to get some time to do so we jump on one of our servers and have a few laughs. As HowieMandel said above, haveing a clan that practices together and knows everything about the game just because they happen to have time to play it 24/7 makes it less then fun for the other side on the server. That's why the rule is there to begin with. With that said we have nothing against teamwork and a tought fight. Since it is a pub server we just prefer that everybody play with equal conditions. We have several clans passing by our servers everyday that has no issues what so ever with this rule and this is how it has been for 6 years from our CS servers to now our BF2 servers.

Just wanted to make that clear. What happened on the server I have no idea about since I wasn't there so I'm not going to say anything about that. I'm fairly sure most of the other of our 500+ members aren't gonna say much about it either. Mainly due to the fact that they weren't there either.

Kicking people for playing with teamwork.

I was there last night. It was almost completely stacked with COFR on one side. (maybe 1 on the other side?) They didnt have a problem with the sides untill they started getting their asses kicked.

Now MMB isnt a competitive clan by any means. We dont practice tactics, enter tournaments, or anything like that. Its just a bunch of guys who are better than average players (mostly anyways) That use a teamspeak server of co-ordinate. Heck we all know at least 1 of the other members in real life so its not like we're even recruiting top players, just buds we know that arent tools.

Now, talking about rules- I watched the rules scrolling at the top, read the rules on server load. And none of this clan stacking stuff came up untill they were losing and they started kicking people. Just reaks of bad sportsmanship.

Like my buddy Ralphman said above. We don't play competitively, we really just play to blow off steam and have fun. So having 8-9 CoFR on one side is not necessarily an advantage, as we never pratice or play in a competitive nature.

That's the difference. When 6 clan members join the server and proceed to all jump on one team then the opposition is more than likely doomed, as you and your fellow clanmates will know exactly what to expect from one another and although it is a public server, you won't be able to stop your competitive edge from coming out.

I would urge you to come back to the server and try it again, play against your clanmates, hell it's fun fragging your buddies.

If you want to play competitively than compete against other battlegroup based clans on private servers or in leagues. We're just out to half a laugh, if you can do that than you're more than welcome to come ad play on our server. But if you;re out to join a pub server and team up to annihilate the other pubbers than our server is not the play to come.

Geeky, no one was kicked for teamwork. People were kicked for intenionally unbalancing the teams. If you join the server and you get auto'd to USMC stay on USMC, don't intentionally unbalance the teams in order to play with your buddies.

I don't think you read the rules when you enter. Here is what is displayed when you first enter the server.

You obviously didn't read or understand the rule about using auto-join. You didn't go to the forums to read about the rules.

Lets just make this clear. You want to go to a server, with 6 clan members, and all be on the same team, correct? This is not the server for you then. We expect people to use auto-join and stay where the server puts them.

Yes we do follow those rules. If by some chance all the CoFR were on the same side it is was because that was where they were put, or they were auto-switched due to your clan all having to be on the same team.

I will try to help you out here. Is there any server that would not mind of this clan all played on the same side? I think it's 6 people or so. If you have a server like that please let them know.

To hopefuly put an end to any hard feelings, you are welcome back, but we ask that you just follow the rules. That means using auto-join or stay where the server puts you if switched.

5. in the middle of gaming, who really stops joining a server or stops playing to go check out a website with all the rules...no offense, but if you have so many rules they can't fit into the server message box, or can't be spammed in the combat chat, maybe there's too many rules?

The whole reason it went badly was because no one was booted until the usa side was down to it's only uncap spawn and having a hard time getting out...

1st round we were all grouped no problem, we lost by 20 pts or so, and no one said a thing...

2nd round, all still grouped from first round...again with no problems...then 2 guys got side switched to usa, cuz people were sideswitching to get to our side since we were winning...they switch back, the map stayed the same with usa with one uncap

THEN we start getting kicked for clan stacking...it was never a problem until we were winning...the whole 1st round no one said nothing

Can you see from our point of view that cofr was looking like poor losers?

In our clans defense, we only play every so often together. We all would rather play on the same team cause it is more fun for us. Our clan is split into 2 cities (Pittsburgh and Chicago: Steel Capitals - Go Steelers).

To be honest I didnt see the auto balance rule myself. I saw the other rules and obeyed those.

Dont hate use for wanting to play as a team together. We will just play on one of the other great servers (not saying yours isnt great because your server ran smoothly).

adamfool, I do understand where you are coming from with wanting to play on the same team as your friends, but we find that it is not fair to the other players when they get switched when other members join the team of their friends.

I hope you all stop by again and have some fun, but we would like to ask that you stay on the team that the server assigns you.
