Who cares what they do, who cares about stats, the only one who should care about stats is whoever is number 1, for the rest of us it doesnt matter, unless youre willing to spend 70 hours a week playing

all i care about is k/d ..at the end of the day i want 10 times as many kills as deaths ..but with a cheater or five in every server ..there goes that

Where I work when there is a place that might cause you some grief they put yellow tape around it and you cant go in. They are really fast about making it safe again too.
Ea should do the same thing with knife and pistol servers. Dont shut them down, just permanently unrank them. Then you could go and play that way all you want. I found one unranked knife and pistol server and just had to try a few rounds on it, boy did I stink up the place. Some of the best fun Ive had though, playing BF2.
I think EA/Dice needs a new system for punishment, maybe a E-Mail warning the first time if less than 25 points IAR and one round are concerned. Then the next level is a week ban on all servers but after that you get the big wipe and any more trouble gets your CD key banned from on line play. That way they could punish more of the padders and some of the straying honest players would fall back in line. I say this because Ive reported 3 guys for padding that caused me grief and I cant even tell if anyone read the posting. Whats the use? I even had references (other players reported them also for other episodes of padding) also a confession from one of the padders. I mean how hard is it to check thier stats and see that they had no knife badge then in two days they have expert and have played about 50 hours total? Plus 3 reports on them and a confession. I dont get it. It just seems like a big waste of my time. Do you feel that way? . . . . .Red

Agree with you 100%. Worrying about someone elses stats is a complete waste of time.

Dont get me wrong here im not for point farming but a knife and pistol server state's that before you get in if you dont want to go there dont go in . There are hundreds of servers out there and yes a few pistol and knife servers too if EA doe's not want these there its easy do a online search through game moniter or in game logg the server ip's and take away there right to ranked systems. It annoys me that EA are stating oh its wrong to have these yet are not doing enough to stop it okay reseting stats is one way but there blaming people for EA's own short sightedness , it was obvious from the start of the game that the knifes and pistol badges where going to start things like this .


In short if EA cant be bothered to watch the game then why should anyone get stats wiped for been on a pistol and knife server .

because it clearly states that if you enter a knife pistol server you risk being reset, so if you continue to play on them, we will have a thread in a few weeks whinning you lost your stats..

i dont see why people think the rules dont apply to them, or dont matter, and start to question the rules.....is it not obvious why ranked knife and pistol servers are 'illegal'? if its about the fun, host it on an unranked server, as of now, i cannot find a single unranked knife/pistol server, but i can find dozen on ranked servers....these are the rules, if you dont like them, then dont accept the agreement when installing bf2...

If EA were truly serious about resetting players' stats for padding and point farming, all they would need to do is visit the stat sites like bf2tracker or bf2s to see who's doing what...
Just browsing the 1st page alone:

and clicking 10 to 20 random people on that list, you'd see that most on there have favorite victim and worst enemy in the 50-200 range. Many times it's the same guy.
Seems pretty cut and dry to me...

You are probably one of the few people who is actually reset (a few in a million bf2 accounts)

Funny, i have been playing in KP servers for a much longer time and i have never been even warned once, let alone get my stats reset. I don't any more though as I want to continue to have my unlocks.

Then if you check out AED_008...this player has killed 1234ram 138 times..

Then if you check out 1234ram...this player has killed AED_008 199 times...with a kill streak of 199...


see a pattern here?
