People who scope the forum for the words, "Change, Opinion, Perspective, Fix" simply so they can chime in with, "Noob, Get some skills!, Learn to play, Just quit!, go back to CS".

...also, the competitve community as a whole ticks me off because they have some strange notion that they run things; that they are valued by soeone other than themselves. Fact is, they aren't.

Also, the short arse locked range on A.A. If they missiles aren't cutting 180's, give us back the old locking range!

People who are able to absorb multiple shots to the body, then pop me once to kill me.

People who are able to survive a sniper shot to the face.

Chopper pilots who sit on the pad and constantly tell you to get out, so he can fly with his friend. Understandable if a private is going to be your gunner. But high ranks means experienced players.

Freaking annoying...

Did I mention those who fail to hop into a jet before you, then stand on the runway to punish you for a tk?

Here's my beef, and its a sincerely legit one. No widescreen support. I don't understand how we can accomidate HDR lighting and 6x AA, but any poor bastard who runs at 1440x900 has to break from native resolution and has poor graphics just because widescreen isn't enabled.

Yes... everyone must be wrong while you're right... CS is really fun and runs on almost any hardware, and the social aspect has most other games beat.

(LOL - this is my sort of post!)

Anyway, here's mine:

1] 'Dumb Medics' - the ones who are just after the points and revive you in front of an enemy tank, while you are surrounded by 20 enemy or during an arty strike! Grrrr!

2] 'Rouge Commanders' - You know, the commanders that think it's a good idea to lead the army into battle in a jet or a tank! LOL - the morons!

3] The 'I'm not playing the same game as you' soldiers - you know, the lonewolves who pay absolutely no heed to the team and go off on their own mission - particularly the ones who lock their squad OR do not make a squad when capturing a vital flag!

4] Jet pilots - they are all just asses (but more precisily, those that do not understand the inherant difference between a fighter and a bomber, but use a fighter to bomb, instead of using it to provide air cover for us grunts while we get raped by the enemy bomber!)

5] 'Car-jackers' - the guys who drive off in your vehicle when it is obvious you are using the MG in a good defensive/offensive position!

And last but not least...

My crap play - my personal lack of tallent which leads me to get the crap kicked out of me so often ~ ESPECIALLY, when it's doing stupid stuff I know I shouldn't do!

Actually I agree with you here...

I just got a lovely HP 23" widescreen recently, thought 'wow, BF2 will look great with this' - plugged it in and ... crap! No support!

BUT - having said that, I have been playing it in the normal mode (stretched) and I don't notice it's stretched now.

But yesm a proper widescreen mode would be great!

BF2 doesn't support HDR, but I agree with you on the resolution issue. Battlefield 2 in widescreen would be amazing, and there's absolutely no reason for it not to support the correct resolution.

My buddy plugged his plasma TV into his computer and Half-Life 2 automatically detected it and changed the resolution to 1280x720...

Ditto. It ****es me off when people call tank drivers "noobs". Ever think that they grabbed a tank because they aren't completely dense and don't want to get killed by the tons of other vehicles in this vehicle-based game?

I mean there are plenty of war FPS games that don't have vehicles, so why come in the one that does and complain about them?

Sabotage an enemy vehicle with c4, lie and wait for enemy to enter, teammate enters, c4 is now useless and you can't throw the remote...
