No place to spawn... WTF?

Recently I posted asking for info on flying techniques. Got a lot of good stuff from a bunch of different people and went back to the drawing board, practicing my techniques, tweeking my joy again and again, etc.

Today I decided to try out my new knowledge and sure enough, I did a lot better than I usually do, going 8-1 on my first flight of the map in a j-10 on Dragon Valley. I got 4 enemy jets and one blackhawk. Yeah, I was pretty lucky but no question that the post helped a lot. Thanks again guys.

Anyway, after I died I went back to the hanger and waited for the J-10 to respawn, then one of my teammates comes over. So we of course had the furious "E" key engagement and he ended up winning and taking my jet. I told him that I was going to wait for it and if he came near me again I would TK him. So I watched his progress on the map and sure enough, he flew about 2 laps around the map and died. Then, when he respawns he comes running back over to the hanger where I am waiting. I time it right and pop him in the head just before the jet spawns and take off.

So then I fly around and do some more damage before being killed again and then go to respawn at the airfield.

But I cant. The dot is red. I say "WTF?" The dot stays red for quite some time. I spawn over by the flag and hoof it over to the run way... and would you believe the sneaky bastard parked vehicles over all the spawn points near the runway?

I was actually too impressed with the idea to be angry. I wont ever do it, but it sure is amazing what some people will go through just so they dont have to wait in line for a vehicle.

I had a pair of guys vying for the jet at wake. One guy was an aspiring pilot, and one was his mate 'helping' him out. In the 'e' battle, as you put it, this guy's mate would drive a jeep up and since you were pressing 'e', you would get in the jeep instead of the potential jet.

So naturally, this other guy got the jet.

For being tools, I capped the pilot in the head with the M95, and flew off. They started a kick vote, but they never go anywhere.

I don't mind losing the jet in a fair 'e' battle, but when some guy has a mate helping him do nothing but guarentee him the jet rather than taking the fight to the enemy, I take umbridge.

If you like to team steal jets so much, take an enemy's jet.

Yeah, I did, but that wasn't the point of the post. The server I was on is notorious for people TKing for vehicles. The point of the post was to inform people about something new I had learned. Did I dog the guy out? did I say his name? did I complain about the server? NO. I just said " he parked vehicles over some spawn points, interesting tactic".

Well there really shouldn’t have to be an “<E>” battle if players would show some respect and take turns like adults!

If you are the first to fly at the start of a map and than die, why on earth do you think you have the right to <E> battle to fly the next spawned plane. If there is someone there that has been waiting for the plane you just died in, let them have it, you had your turn!

BTW, "Spawn Blocking" is old news!

If you are the first to fly at the start of a map and than die, why on earth do you think you have the right to <E> battle to fly the next spawned plane. If there is someone there that has been waiting for the plane you just died in, let them have it, you had your turn!

Especially with helicopters, I always show respect an offer the pilot seat to my gunner if he wants it. If there are other people around, they can 'e' battle liek everyone else has to.
