I've been enjoying the L8 ever since I bound fire to my scroll wheel. I've really enjoyed popping of rounds at great distance with the scroll wheel.

AK's for those up close and personal moments , G36E otherwise. I never really learned to use the L85 spray gun.

LMFAO at all the people complaining about the L85A1 please carry on complaining there was nothing wrong with the gun in the first place if you knew how to use it and since the 1.2 patch its so much better. So please please carry on complaining they'll keep on improving the gun and ill keep on owning the crap out of people even more.

p.s. The last time i played karkand i went all out running and gunning no spawn raping involved and i got 27 kills and 4 deaths on a server i was getting a ping of 100+ imagine the carnage i could do on a normal uk server were i ping at 20.

p.p.s. Whats the point of quoting a gun website about real weapons when this is a game and an arcade game at that.

Its not a spray gun you need to use control bursts always have done even before it got improved or your not going to hit anything.

Anyway, who here now uses the G36E exclusively while playing medic and/or who plays medic more often because of this gun? I'm just curious because as I said before it's a good gun and although I have only used it a handful of times myself, is it good enough to make you want to change the kit you play or the gun you used to use?

yeah, but i never figured it out before getting the G36Exterminator, and after that i never saw the need to go back to it. I understand it's powerful as **** in the right hands, as i've gotten headshotted repeatedly by it, but those hands sure ain't mine.

Im all for the m-16. Seeing as to how on TWL and such you are stuck without your unlocks it is just good practice to use standard kits. I found that after awhile the m-16 is DEADLY. Its all in the aim. And it is actually quite accurate.

I usually use the G36E exclusuively when in Vanilla BF2, for good reason, decent damage, good recoil, good accuracy and quick reload time. I do like the 101 which is what I use on the SF maps that I'm forced to use that or the L85.

I use the L85A1 when I'm a squad leader, it's great for covering your squad, and if they do get picked off that scope can help you spot the enemy, or pick them off your self. Medium range I would give to the G36E, and perhaps even close, but I've gotten good with just unloading the full auto on the L85A1 clip in a second or two in those situations.

I use the G36E, because when you get skilled with that (timeyour clicks) it has a firerate of 900rpm instead of 600rpm for the L85A1. Once used to it's the most accurate gun and if you can aim you don't need spray and pray weapons.

Who needs a scope or sights? G36E can be fired from the hip with deadly accuracy...

In cases where you are close enough to reliably make headshots with one of the AKs, they are sometimes preferable as they will kill in a headshot, while the 36e wont. In all other circumstances the 36e is an excellent choice and beats the m16 hands down in every respect.

The AK is sex, the enney is good for up all ranges, and the g36's 3 round is a killer if you get the jump on someone, esp while taking a quick kneel

I think I see the enney and ak more then teh g36. I use all three nearly equally, but prolly teh g36 the most
