I agree that using AA missles on people taking off on the carrier is acceptable, the best anti-air is no enemy air.
But Im highly against bombing the carrier, if your dumb ebough to waste bombs on the carrier for quick kills your a noob pilot.
Using bombs on the carrier is effectively saying "hey team I care more about kilsl then helping you". Your J-10 bombs should be hitting the RIB island, incoming boats, vehicles, and any flags gone white. So many times I watch as a flag turns white and some noob pilot is screwed havign to fly back to reload...or not even caring and going back and bombing the carrier again.

By the way..Id like to stress the point that your a ass pilot if all you can do is participate in the point and click Air to Air warfare BF2 is now..a real pilot can effectively bomb in a fighter..so many times I see the fighter in the air and not once bomb an enemy effectively.

From what I have seen Wake becomes very unbalaced when a J10 pilot is "Whoring". Making the game miserable for USMC players. What would be the fun in sitting On a floating death trap?.
Althogh I admit it must be fun for the pilot killing massive amounts of hapless victems spawning And making feeble atemts to to excape. This tactic takes fun away from bolth teams, not only does is suck to be raped on the carrier, it sucks to wait on island wishing for some action.
I can understand bolth sides of the argument, but ultimatly it comes down to a personal decision of whether or whether not you want to be a prick and diminish the game for everyone else:As there is no rule saying its off limmits .

Here is what I find funny!

One tactic in war is to suppress ones enemy. Another is called "Physiological Warfare”!

Psychological warfare is an art adopted to defeat the enemy's will to fight.

What do both of these have to do with what is characterized as “Base Camping or Spawn Camping” in BF2?

When one is base or spawn camped, frustration sets in, forcing the person on the opposing team to give up prematurely!

These are valid tactics of war, learn to deal with and possibly overcome it!

Here's a tissue for all you crying about base raping? Its a war game. Would you rather the enemy give you a chance to get out of your base? Stop crying its a valid tactic, and if you blow so bad you cant take out the person(s) base raping then switch servers or teams or games. To come to a forums to cry about how you got raped by base rapers or bunny hoppers or anything other then cheaters is rather pathetic and laughed at by the competition community. To the rest of you who can take the base raping and switch strats and how you play to kill the base raper or become the base raper.. kudos you adapted to BF2.

i agree except for one thing, The J-10 is alot of work to take down. I don't give a $hit how good you are, it's gonna take some effort. And when you have two J-10 pilots who know what they are doing baseraping it definately ****s the experience for everoyne on the U.S. Ottherwise I don't see a problem with raping in any of the other aircraft because it can be countered.

Things that generally make the game miserable for other players get removed via new patches. Although wake is one of my favorite maps, I believe it can become very unbalanced.

ya j10 is very hard to kill.

One good tactic is get behind when hes going straight switch to missles and soon as it locks, fire ALL ur missles. 1 might hit. then go back to bombs and wait till hes going staight again chain gun him. then boast.

BF2 is an advance FPS war game! Those that will prosper in these types of games are those who know what real war is about and the history of warfare.

You know IRL, not everyone is cut out for the military, the science or art of planning and conducting a war or a military campaign. Those that don’t are clerks in the armed forces, maybe they will patch that in for you

Uhh, look at the picture...the ticket count is only down to 287 to 276...it's not the end of the round. With that few defenders on the Wake Island map it's actually fairly easy for the USMC to get a foothold on land and win the map.

Any good J10 pilot can keep US from getting a flag even on a 64 player server. It's so easy to run by the carrier, then go get the boats at the island. I'm not advocating camping, but if they have no flags, I'm not about to just let them capture a flag, because then my stupid team will probably lose the airfield.

And as a fairly decent pilot, the thing that takes me out of the air over 50 percent of the time is the second essex gun.
